    Morning Rising,

Really want to put my washing out, but keep having showers so not sure its worth all the hassle :o.

Its been lovely and mild here too, would love to think we are past the worst of the cold, but February is often a bad month too isn't it. So I had better not get excited.

Our Overdraft is £2500 with an Emergency extra £500. B#rclays do this strange set up to make you think you can go into that extra £500, but the charges are :mad: (£22 everytimeyou enter it )

Recently we have been living right up to the £3000 mark, been getting monthly charges of £34 interest and £94 Charges

At the end of January we should be about -£1800 Overdrawn, but during the month as we are weekly paid, we will dip back further into the OD, but hoping we won't go over the £2500 mark. Fingers Crossed.

If I can stick to the budget then I can see the overdraft shrinking every month, and that feels fab.

Hopefully I won't get such huge charges this month and that can all go towards the sick overdraft. :o

Have a lovely Sunday Rising. Great day for a walk with the dog. xx
  • Yup, I'm Bar*clays too which is why it stuck in my head - I got into mine ages ago and it took beeping months to get out of it with all the charges added!

Looks like it's going to be showery here too so hopefully I'll manage to get Maisie out in between them!
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000
    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!
  • Thought I would check back in and start an action plan for today.

    Sunday
    Ironing
    Menu list
    Weeks chalk board itinerary
    Bake packed lunch cake
    Cook Roast Chicken Dinner.

I have also had a better go at some survery sites.

I am loving N#ctar Adpoints, did get to my 250 points maximum quite quickly. I have worked out that if I do the 250 points every week, I should get £60 worth of N#ctar vouchers by the end of the year. Hope I have worked that out right?.

Also have done trustedS#rveys, 0nepoll, Ips0s. Still can't get the hang of Sw#gbucks, I must have a proper look at the thread on it better to see what all the fuss is about.

    See you later x

    Hey Steph,

Sounds like you have a busy day planned.

The surveys I do are Global Test Market, they pay you out in cash but you have to wait on a cheque coming from USA - about £30 a time. Valued Opinions - who pay you out in vouchers and Just the Answer -who pay you out in 4mazon vouchers. I get loads of surveys from the first two and not so many from the last one, but is keeps me ticking over :)

    Have a great day :)

  • Morning Fifty,

Thanks for that. There is a few there that I haven't tried. Will give them a go.

    Thanks xx
  • Sun is still shining and wind is still blowing, so I have quickly whipped out a small white wash onto the line. Fingers Crossed it does'nt rain.

Just had lunch and now off to get kiddies ready for a bike ride to collect todays milk from the farm. Will walk doggie as don't fancy trying to balance 4 litres of milk on the handlebars of my bike. I would end up in the ditch ;)
  • Phew back from the walk, letting the children ride their bikes worked out great, (they are usually moaning half way back).

They were very sensible and stuck to the left hand side of the lanes and stopped immediately if a car came. Bless my children are growing up.

Done my Menu plan for the week:-

Mon - Chicken Pie (Leftovers from todays Roast)
Tues - Ham Egg & HM Actifry Chips
Wed - Quiche, Salad & boiled potatoes
Thurs - Lasagne (Frozen leftover bolognase in Freezer)
Fri - Toad in the hole
Sat - Homemade Pizza & HM Actifry Wedges
    Sun - Roast Dinner

I have also done my weekly chalk board -
I have it up above my kettle in the kitchen.
I write on here all the things we as a family need to remember during the coming week.
Eg, Kids clubs, hubbies skittles, appointments etc.

Have completed my Mr T home delivery that is due tomorrow.

Washing is still flapping on the line, thankfully the rain has held off.

Going to finish my coffee and then make a start on the Chicken Roast.
While that is cooking I need to bake a large cake and I think I might make a bread and butter pudding. Have a few leftover ends of homemade loaves from the last few days. Would be a nice pud, just got to check I have some sultana's or raisins left in the larder.

Ok thats me up to date.

Aren't HM Actifry chips the best? Can't believe we nearly took ours back when we read how long it took to cook a batch of chips!
  • I LOVE bread and butter pudding. I've just made banana and shredded wheat muffins - all very slimmer friendly but not a patch on bread and butter pudding.
Well done being so organised for the week ahead. Hopefully I can take a leaf out of your book. I have 3 things left to do today (one of which is mark 13 books, which will take at least an hour, maybe 2) but have done the chicken dinner so should be making plans for lunches and leftovers.

Hi, yes they are good. Like you said you need to allow the extra time for them to cook, but with only a tablespoon of oil, it makes me feel better about the odd plate of chips :o
