    No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere
  • Did you have any joy? I sent an email about mine still being in packing and got a cut and paste reply about tracking. I replied that I could not track it as it was still in packing, but got no reply. I have tried to phone, but on hold for ages. fed up now:mad:

    Me too, sooo fed up with them. Then rang and got through eventually, they are looking into it.

    I would like to order a different one if this doesn't materialise but can't until this is sorted out.:mad:
  • I don't think I have ever experienced such awful customer service.

    I have recieved two emails from them and both were lies. The first saying that the products were out of stock and the second saying that there would be a "delay" with the hamper when in fact it is not coming at all.

    I have just had another 30 min phone call with customer service to confirm that I won't be getting the hamper, and furthermore they wouldn't be honoring the £25 refund that they claimed had already gone through.

    The rest if the order has been sent to my mother in a remote part of the country and I am not prepared to give her the hassle of trying to return the goods.

    I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I could not. I asked for a supervisor to call me back and they would not do that either.

    I have been lied to by BHS from start to finish, have spent over an hour in phone calls trying to sort this out and I am absolutely furious.

    I also sent an email and got the same reply as you yesterday. I also replied that I couldnt track with no despatch number and no reply. I've sent another one just now and am sure there will be no reply and my order will still show that it's packing in the warehouse tomorrow........:(

    Yes this is atrocious behaviour from such a large and respected company. Can you imagine M&S or Tesco behaving like this?!

    My hampers are still being packed although my original order confirmation screen said they'd be dleivered no later than tomorrow so there is still day to go before I give up hope. Are people still receiving cancellation emails?

    As an aside, I don't think I would risk ordering any thing else from BHS. Now I know why the back of our one looks like a giant jumble sale. a)you don't know if you'll get your order a week after ordering, b) you dont know if you'll get it for the price you thought you were paying, and C) if you get it and there's a problem, you're even more stuffed! There approach to the problem over Facebook is shocking. So you only get your order sorted if you bleat about it on Facebook!! They should coordinate what's going on here.

    This is the reply that I had from them about my order which has been packing in the warehouse for a week !

    Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a time or date as to when your order will be dispatched. You have selected standard delivery so this will take longer than our express delivery service orders. As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email to confirm this. However we do not have any further information to provide you at this current time.

    I can only apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

    How bad is that? :(
