Reading some of the stories on here reminds me why (50's man) I've never married.
At that is before I add in the antics I've personally witnessed......
The women who marry the high earning banker/lawyer etc - you just pencil in +7 years for the divorce date and yup you are usually in right ballpark along with the resulting money/children battles.
The ones who marry the high flier who gets moved around the world a lot only to find out that the life of a corporate wife dragged along is not all that it is cut out to be.
Then there are the ultra-hot eastern European women looking for a stupid man to have a child born in the UK with.
and goes it goes on.
So I don't hassle women and suprise to say they don't hassle me.
I now even have 50 and 60 year old married women saying they know exactly why I've stayed single and I've far much sense to get mixed up in all the rubbish of relationships.
So I'm looking forward to a totally aggro' free Christmas in the rural home counties (and my relations are long since deceased).0 -
This thread has made me laugh and scared me at the same time. At some point in the future I will need to look again. Friends have had success but some of you guys make it all sound horrendous!0

Surely best to make lots of [convertible] internet friends ie to offline is best way forward? Internet is my way of meeting people and socialising hence MSE and other Forums, then post profile on POF etc?#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

At least on MSE you get the financial aspect any potential beloveds can see how you spend your money and visa versa, a good thing in my books so maybe that's why MSE has been described as a knocking shop because real love has happened and marriages.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

One last one. Internet dating is rubbish, the women get swamped by married perv and the men get ignored.
Well I don't know about that, at least for women. But I've not had bad experiences with the women I've dated - they have all been honest and nice people. Alas with the years and previous relationships comes baggage on both sides, and this does make things much more difficult. Until then, one has hope. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0 -
