One last one. Internet dating is rubbish, the women get swamped by married perv and the men get ignored.

I've just recently become single and like many have looked at some online dating sites. However, the whole thing scares me witless.
Am feeling I need to get out there and meet people but again, the prospect of walking into a bar and striking up a conversation just seems to smack of desperation

Dating sights are just like real life. They'll be saddos, tarts, freaks, AND some good women on there. Just need to keep looking, if you've got the patience!
