No, they are not stupid or at least not any more dumb than men that think some pretty woman is into them as she batters her eyelids to get a few free drinks.

I came across an interesting bit of trivia that may explain this. On one dating site a question was asked if the person thought passion or dedication was more important in a relationship. In the vast majority of cases women answer "passion", while men in the vast majority of cases answer "dedication".

Now if you think about it both these terms are some what ambiguous. One persons interpretation of each word may differ from another's, but yet the gender split on the answer was quite apparent. In my opinion it does point out I think where a lot of the male/female clashes occur. I think men often tend to be creatures of habit/routine. They apply a logic to something and can often be stubborn to budge from that. Women tend to be prefer spontaneity. They view that sort of action as passionate/fun, while the routine that many men create is viewed as dull/boring.

The only issue is that many of the guys that seem spontaneous are more likely just unreliable, which may seem interesting and mysterious in the short term, but bloody annoying in the long term. This doesn't get around the fact their actions often would have made the women feel good about themselves and invoked that feeling of "passion", which is something Mr Dedication is rarely going to get the chance to do as he's viewed as being dull and no fun.

Oh, and man up and just put a bloody picture on your profile as a description isn't cutting the mustard.

Remember what you want and what you can get are two different things. Also the size of your inbox is no indication of your attractiveness.
One last one. Internet dating is rubbish, the women get swamped by married perv and the men get ignored.

I disagree. The last thing i'm looking for is any sort of commitment ! But then maybe thats because i've been there and done that and wasn't impressed ! Possibly the younger females are, say between 25-35.

It should be about having fun and seeing where it all leads.

To be honest it sounds like the bitter rantings of an insane man to me.

If the majority of women you meet think you are just looking for sex then maybe the onus is on you to think how you project yourself in the company of women.
