    So....

    You've got a board for Mums/Dads/Grandparents etc.
You've got a board for Couples.
You've also got a board for Singletons.

Where do you post if you're in a live-in polyamorous relationship with no children?

Would you have time to use the internet if you were doing all that

So now it's gone back to no obvious place for those us who are not a mum, dad, married, in a relationship nor have a nuclear family. :( Thank to those of you who didn't bother to give the new system a chance of find a positive way forward. That would be most of you. But it's OK in a decade or so I will be over 50 so I can post on the relevant board.

But I think this is still a relevent place for singles. For 'families' perhaps read household?

Maybe start a singles relevant thread in here again and see how it goes?

What exactly would you want to post that cannot be answered on any of the existing boards? People are not defined by their relationship status, everyone posts as a person first and foremost.

Being married, single, divorced, whatever...is only an added experience. I really cannot think of one subect about being single that cannot be discussed by everyone who's interested or has some particular knowledge on an issue regardless of their relationship status...

Household, to me, smacks of Old Style, Greenfingers and Utilities boards.

Maybe it should just be the 'I dunno... Life!' board.

.... which is full of nursing home queries, pension advice and other topics aimed at the 65+ age group. The only 50 somethings posting there seem to be asking for advice on the next/older generation's difficulties.

I was surprised that board asn't renamed in the recent changes as the title is out of date now that pensions start at 62+ :o

Being single doesn't mean you don't have a family or any relationships though!

I have parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, close friends, distant friends, acquaintances, work colleagues and I know the friends, partners and children of friends.

I see it as this is the place for posting about issues to do with your interpersonal relationships, whoever they may be with.
