What the...?

What's going with the board change?

Why the segregation MSE?

I know single people are often pariahs but this is ridiculous! I notice that the death/pet care/health and beauty boards are now under the auspices of 'Money Saving Mums and Dads' so I guess I'm not supposed to read those anymore...

Presumably they plan to change the sub boards on the old family /relationships boards......or they could have made all of them sub boards under the old one.

There have been a spate of 'adultx' questions in the family board which I wondered if people were taking offence at?

Yep. You cannot own pets, do the Olympic legacy thing......but on the plus side, maybe those of us without kids aren't going to die soon either?

Would a single parent with a lifestyle dilemma be a mum/dad or a singleton?

Sorry, but you're still dividing us up based on our circumstances, it doesn't really feel very warm and fuzzy! We mostly got along well enough all in together!

Its bad enough when you're a single that you get hammered by the "single supplement" clause....now mse want to single you out too and drop you from the "family"!!

I don't like it either, I mean being single is still being in a family of sorts.

I need advice about my DD but as a single mother do I ask on this board or on the other one?

    It's silly MSE!
  • Aww guys come on, I'm sure the MSE bods meant no offence!

We are still allowed to go and read the other threads, plus this way we don't have to wade through all the various stages of pregnancy threads!

I like having our own board, thank you MSE! :D I feel important for a change, big difference from the politicians and media spouting about families and pensioners.

Don't like pets, health and beauty being under the Parents board so much tho, agree with Person_one.
