Peeked main bathroom, not totally destroyed as I had feared, just a full laundry hamper of towelsI think the clue was to let DD2 go in first and then her mates go in second....they must have cleaned up after themselves - will go and get the towels and mats in the wash in a minute
DW on, and washed up by hand extra gubbins, done a couple of 27 fling boogies downstairsm hoovered kitchen, hall and dining room, spot cleaned kitchen doors on the quick as a few stray marks have appeared  straightened out living room, but cannot hoover as DS is watching kids tv with DD3, so it's allowing me some down time lurking on here
Right back to the ensuite, I can't have that hanging over my head til next week:o:o:o - I will get to 100% this week even if I finish at stupid o'clock :eek::eek:

Well got side tracked a little, went to wash cup ,emptied bowl and remembered kitchen sink seems to be draining slowly, 2 scoops of washing soda ,vinegar leave to fizz, which reminded me shower room drain also seems slow, only ever remember when naked and wet , On with rubber gloves ,to get a better grip as you have to unscrew it ,it flush with floor, several minutes later up it comes ,,:eek:, more washing soda and vinegar after having a poke around with screwdriver, put cover in sink of scalding water, leave to soak while I change the bedding, job done, now for the loft.:( after I finish my t :coffee:Do I need it or just want it.0

I've only used them once, and I just used any old box I had lying around; I think it was a photocopier paper box from work and I just cut the sides off to size.
I did the same - there was one going in the bin at work on Friday, so just used that and they took it without a hitch. Just waiting for the money now - wait until they see the state of some of the CD's  - I don't think I'll get what they offered ha haDecluttering junk and debt in 2016

Where I come from if you 'lift' something you steal it :rotfl:...tend to get sidetracked up there as still loads of O.H. stuff in boxes, he died June, from when we moved here 5 years ago.
Sorry to hear you are recently widowed :smileyhea Please be careful in the loft alone, a friend of mine accidentally kicked the ladder away and had to wait 2 hours for her son to come back from school and reposition it
WM x 1
TD x 2
Coffee x 3
Banana x 1
Rewashed glass light-fittings - still a bit grimy
Wiped out bottom of fridge - pasta a la leftover for dinner I think
Glad to hear the poorlies are recovering, there's some nasty bugs doing the roundsincluding my boss who refuses to stay home sick, preferring instead to spread germs to staff and customers, moan about how bad she feels and give me the cold shoulder when I don't fully sympathise... sorry but this unnecessary martyr act is really doing my head in now.
DD is back from a dance show rehearsal and has flopped on the sofa. Don't think she'll be moving any time soon she was back late from a party last night.

Thanks skint breeder 5 for your bathroom method. Luckily we are in a very soft water area so are fortunate not to have to do the "rubber band" thingy. OH is a painter and decorator and we always end up with baked on paint flakes so CIF cream is my preferred bath cleaner, along with spray-type stuff on everything else.
pamsdish - sorry to hear about your dearly beloved - take your time. My Dad died 6 years ago and it took Mum ages to get around to it but eventually, she began doing a shelf at a time in his wardrobe when a Charity bag came through the door, until she felt better able to do the bigger items in the shed and the garage. When my Mum died last year, we only had to deal with her stuff, but there are still piles to sort. In fact, this year for Christmas I am making a photo album up for my sister as a "This is your Life" type book. It starts off with a picture of when Mum and Dad were courting, right through to having my Sister, brownie badges, school blazer badges/school reports, her first pay slip, Sister's marriage, her children, graduations etc., and finalises with the last picture taken of my Mum and Dad on their 50th Wedding Anniversary the Christmas before Dad was taken into hospital on Boxing Day. It means I will have much less in my own home which I "inherited", but my Sister has something to mark all the occasions, in one place. Sorry, I'm rambling - what I am basically trying to say is, you will get there eventually and it is not a race. Baby steps. Good luck with your own journey xx
Had a really fitful nights' sleep last night. OH came up to bed at half 2 this morning and I just couldn't get back off, so I tinkered on the pooter until 5 and then didn't wake up until 10.15. I've had a little potter about doing a couple of things, but boy am I struggling now - think I may have to go and lie down until I wake up properly.
So far I've TD x 2, folded and put away towels and MORE socks, emptied handbag of receipts and clutter, found hot water bottles and checked them, dusted the lounge/mirrors/mantel/skirtings etc., whilst the kids hoovered, swept and washed last nights pots. OH made a cooked breakfast, DD made the scrambled eggs and DS learned to make poached ones, then OH swept and mopped the kitchen floor and put the TD on - they're all in training!
We need to take the pooch out for a walk soon and buy stuff for DD's packed lunch, but the weather is totally pants and simply CBA. I may delegate that one too! Children need fresh air, right?

Only have the stairs to hoover and lampshades to dust from this week's list, but more caffeine required before I tackle them.
Catch you all later
