Good morning!
We are a bit chirpier here, thankfully! Bit of laundry to catch up on, but managed to clear the ironing pile yesterday. Plan later is to go see the coca cola truck tour at our local shopping centre, we'll wait till its dark and allegedly the rain will have passed too.
Other than that I just need to keep on top of the kitchen to make tomorrow as easy as poss (back to work after my week off). We may do some baking though, we have new Xmas cookie cutters, but we might make a really thin sponge and use them on the cooked product, and make some cake pops out of the off cuts. Hmm will have to attack the Xmas box of goodies for some chocolate to melt...Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Morning all. Its pouring with rain and windy here so two things already crossed off the list for today - long walk with the dogs and bathing them. Not worth them having a wash as the garden is flooded and they'll just swim in it!
Seeing the mention of Xmas in earlier posts, I must remember to ask DH to get the decs out of the loft as I expect he'll want the house decorated next week. Saves on the dusting for a few weeks! I spoke too soon last week when I said he'd not had a drink for 5 months, he's started drinking again. Interesting conversation to be had here tonight when he's back from work, but only if DD isn't here as she tends to interfere.
I'm on my own today so will crack on with flying as I achieved nothing all week due to the paid stuff and was out all day yesterday. I will report back later.
Have a good day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning
'get it fixed' vibes heading in your direction Helen
'get well soon' vibes being sent out to all the poorly ones...what a lot of you there are
it's wild, wet and windy here....and only semi-light - Charlie has only just decided that it might be morning and time for breakfast, after looking at me in disgust an hour ago and putting his head under his wing for a snoozey lie-in. Don't blame him really!
There's a definite improvement in chez tuit on the clutter front...thank you for your inspiration ladies :blushing:
Going to put some music on and wash some more pots.
Have a good Sunday. Hope no-one is being affected by the floods in any way

This morning i've got 2 away to sunday school, 1 on sofa feeling very sorry for himself and 1 just being a pain.Lets hope the day improves.
Plan of action is to go through all the boys clothes, loads don't fit anymore. Need to get all bedding washed, school things sorted for morning, online food shop for tuesday, charity stuff sorted for the morning, it's going to be a very tough week, charity night is this friday plus i need to go and lift DS3's Christmas present on tuesday night. Got a fab deal last night on gumtree, he'll have his tractor and slurry tanker for Christmas....:j:j:j
Right i better go lift the 2 from Sunday school...“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -

Morning
Was awake at ridiculous o clock this morning as the worst of the rain passed over, a distinct disadvantage to being in the attic room with sloping windows as all weathers hit them and keep you awake. Managed to get back to sleep but meant I am later up than I wanted to be. Need to get a few bits as in milk and dog food but DH is talking about wanting to go down to our new massive Mr S so I told him we would but only if he's paying. Wonder whether we will go!
Have only emptied the DW so far and cooked bacon roll for breakfast so going to the shower now then will crack on.
Glad to hear there is some improvement in the poorlies
Back later
Ps managed to write the flylady cards last night - thats a definite first!Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Hi all.
Just catching up with MSE and my email while Mr LW tackles Mount Ironmore.;)
Helen get-it-fixed vibes coming our way.:o
GWS vibes flung out to the furthest reaches of Flylady-land, in the hope of catching everyone who's poorly just now.DD hasn't really been a moo, but I just spend all my time putting her on the loo and taking her off again. She says she wants it then doesn't do anything. But she has had just one pair of pants all day!Rowan_tree wrote: »Has a strange pain earlier though - almost as if a big Dylan doggie had bitten me on me bum!! Anyone know if any (Lame) wolves who might have organised this!!!

I know it's a pic from last Feb, but he looks the same; just doesn't wear the collar now (on vet's advice, he has a harness for walkies, and goes as nature intended at home).:o
I have some membership paperwork to do - not much, just one new member and one renewal - so I've splinted my wrist in the hope that it'll not hurt too much.;)
Toad-in-the-Hole for dins today - Mr LW can help make it.;) Well, he eats over half of it.....:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
