    Morning

Tots up, dressed and fed, tot beds stripped and remade, about to go collect said bedding for the washer to chew up. Felt penguin stitched together. Kitchen dailies done and downstairs loo s&s.

Very frosty start here today, DS to a party this afternoon, MIL coming to look after DD. Need to feed tots something proper today as its been toast and bananas for the last couple of days.

    Hugs to all x

  • That's the bed stripped and remade, Hoovered our bedroom, DD's, Study, landing and bathroom - the stairs next. Off to put cleaning fluid all over the bathroom and then I HAVE to do it before anyone can use it - Room of Doom - hate it! Have managed to "collect" another 4 loads of washing and paired up most of the socks. Have sent DS and DD into their rooms to try and find all the odd socks that don't have a partner - amazing what you find when you try! If this lot don't have a partner, then they're going into the cashforclothes bags that are growing in the study.

Having a cuppa next - anyone up for HH of something at 11?

TD bleeping - going to go and get the 3rd of MANY loads through - it's like a Chinese Laundry in here.

    Laters xx

I've got one of those gas people coming today to do a loft survey to see if we qualify for some free insulation between 12 and 5pm. It was already felted when I bought the house and we put the recommended thickness of stuff down about 18 years ago when OH moved in, but apparently now they say you can have up to 11". If anyone has had one of these surveys, could you let me know if there's anything you realised after the event that 'I wish I'd known that before?'

I rounded up DS2 and DD2 and we had a putting away session. Downstairs is respectable. WM x 4 fifth load in progress.

DS1 still in bed despite several rockets up his Harris. He is very behind with college work and has 3 assignments due in on Monday 3rd. Next weekend will be a wipe out as DD1 celebrates her 21st on the Sunday. He wants to go to Orient and I've said no because he won't do his work. DH has overruled me. To say I am fuming is an understatement.

16+ glass jars/bottles washed, delabelled where possible, and put into recycling box
next lot of pots in bowl ready to wash

unearthed my portable CD/radio/cassette player and set it up in the kitchen so I can have music while I work :) and as I find CDs I'm putting them in a pile next to it. Storage will follow :D

just nipping to Interlagos on the red button to watch practice before watching qualifying later this afternoon.....being a petrolhead and this being the last racing weekend of the season I need my 'fix' it's going to have to last me through the winter.

    See you later xx
