All quiet here. Sadly dd started with the bottom again this afternoon. So have spent most of my time cleaning up after her. Poor little mite, it's made her all sore again, she was crying tonight but calmed down with some more cream and a cuddle.

Since then I've bathed and put them to bed and then attacked the floors downstairs with some stardrops. All ready for round three tomorrow (ding ding).

Now for an early night with a magazine... Night all!

    Evening

Thanks for all the good wishes and positive vibes. Unfortunately I suffer from a lack of self confidence and dont think I did very well at all. It wasnt a case of setting my sights too high as I know I can do the job. I havent had an inteview in 9 years and was so unprepared it was untrue. I thought they would ask me about what I had done previously and how it linked in to this role. Wrong big time! There were 10 questions and I wasnt expecting any of them and if you asked me what my responses were I couldnt tell you. I have no idea if they were right or wrong and totally accept that if I didnt give the rigt answers then I am not the right person for the job. I'm so stupid really, having got to a really good level with my confidence I set myself up for a massive fall. Ive spent most of the evening in a meltdown for which my DH has administered a nice bottle of chilled rose.

    Anyway have had a catchup

Skintbreeder i hope flybaby moves and eases your discomfort soon, been there and no what it was like

kazw love the idea of an early christmas dinner, hope it went down well
Wendywitch you will need to upload it to a hosting site like photobucket.

Forgot I had photobucket, haven't used it since I was married.

Lamewolf - This (hopefully) is a picture of our new puppy Penny, it was taken in August, so she's a bit bigger now

I don't wait in for music magpie - just leave the box on the front door step.I think when you book them you can say that; I just put "on door step behind plant", then you don't need to hang around.

Kaz Hope you feel calmer this morning. You was very brave to go for the interview

I've spent too much time in bed and cant sleep but I don't feel well enough to get up and I've gone off of being downstairs, how daft is that.

    Good morning

I've not posted recently but I've not been idle - in between the paid stuff and sleeping I have been slowly decluttering and even done some flying :T....the basin in the bathroom no longer looks like a biological experiment :o.... DS's bedroom has floor!, as has the kitchen and living room. Still a long way to go, but DS noticed the difference when he came home from Uni last weekend. Got a 'well done mum' :D

I'm quite enjoying myself now, even set the alarm this morning so I could get up and 'do' rather than spend the morning dozing/vegging in bed.

    Going to:
    load the WM
put out rubbish/recycling from last night's 5 minute flings
    feed the birds

Freezing fog here - keep safe vibes to anyone travelling today.

Thanks Narc0lepsy - I saw that option, but as I was having trouble opening the "Welcome Pack" attachment, I just put them into any old box and wasn't convinced they would collect it without proper labels, so I've done a home made job and thought it better that I see the courier face-to-face in case there were problems. I think I'm going to put a notice on the back door telling him it's in the shed though, as we live in a farmhouse with thick walls to the rooms and don't always hear people knocking at the door (no doorbell) and I really need to get "flying" today with the hoover and stuff. Do you use boxes or envelopes? Does it matter if you just use any old envelope/box?

Ordered my business cards from America last night - they are soooooo cool - can't wait for them to arrive!

Made 2 phone calls last night and hopefully made my Auntie's day as I haven't spoken to her for about 10 days and she is very old and confused these days, but I can tell when I chat to her that she brightens up because the phone's rang.

bossymoo - hope you've had a better night with little moo

Dusty - stay in bed today - far too early to be up at the weekend, if you don't need to

Right, I'm off to see if I can find a paintbrush to do all my Ikea paper lightshades - great idea. Seeing as OH is in bed, if I start dusting the lightshade, perhaps he'll get out of it and I can strip it - cunning? moi? Never!

Have a lovely day doing whatever tickles your fancy!
