Splendid waistcoats, Bossy, and beautiful children! I'm sure they'll look great for the sparkly day.
Hope your DS3 feels better soon, Dusty.
Honey Bear, keep growling at that company (which shall now be nameless) until they give you compensation.
I've done hardly any flying apart from basis S&S this week as too busy, but got to Sussex and back today and decluttered joys and worries in a long chat with my friend and her daughter (my goddaughter). Left home at 7.00 am in the dark and got back at 4.00 pm in the dark - I hate these short days.
Fish and chips tonight so I don't have to cook0 -

What Honey Bear said! They are so lovely and what a super mum they have in you. You are doing such a perfect job of keeping their father close to them, this is the power of eternal love. He will always be part of you, and of them, and as the memories are shared and treasured that love will never die, just act a strong foundation for all of your futures.
Dusty, I had tonsillitis as an adult, and it's horrid, and so painful, so I feel for your poor DS. In fact, I've been on the op waiting list since I was 13 (as I reminded my doctor some years ago!) and as I'm now even older than wot Lamewolf said she was (ducks as a pair of shoes come flying at my head!!!!) does anyone think I should pack my bag ready soon?
Quickly - Honey Bear, you go for as much as you can re the money debacle with B@@@@l. !!!!!!!!! How do they think anyone can have all that deducted from their account and not need it?
Save Dosh, thank you for your kind comment, and I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. Like you say, you never forget, but especially to lose such a young man, what a crying shame, but what a brother he must have been.
Bonnie, new (ish) flylady still posting, but had really rotten head cold for 6 days now and it's still full on, so have been taking it easy. Done bits of flying to keep straight, but OH been good doing major things, including next door's dogs on his own! Bless!
Did online shop and sent half up to friend I've been shopping for, so he's ok for a few more days. Off I go, cat calling and must have another cuppa ready for SCD soon!!!
Sorry if I've missed anyone, but good vibes to everyone. R x0 -

Thanks for the advice cyclingyorkie, good idea about giving the chocs/biscuits before hand xx
I am shattered today but DD's Brownie camp weekend stuff is all ready and Mum has picked up uniforms for tomorrow night and Friday morning. Dinner has been cooked and scoffed. Bossy The little Moos are beautiful and lovely. You are doing a wonderful job. xx
Dusty Hope your son is soon better x
Went to collect DS2 from after school club. I had arranged for him just to do an hour but no one answered the gate security so I didn't get into school until 5pm. My back is now sore for standing so long. It turns out he refuse to go to Street dance and ended up in Games club.
I had the loft insulation work inspected today and they discovered that it has heavy condensation. We have to have vents fitted. I'm emptying 2 dehumidifyers each day too.
Towels all washed
Ground floor henried
Does any one have any tumble dryer recommendations?
Thanks0 -

Evening all didn't really get much done this afternoon - although I did have a lovely long hot shower, and thoroughly enjoyed it
I finally got out the metal laundry baskets out of their packaging and put all the chromey things togetherI now have to sort out the washing from the three baskets upstairs into four new ones - that are bigger and look quite appealing to the eye. I just hope they all fit where I want to put them on upstairs landing
Think that will be my job tomorrow after coming back from my friends
Couldn't decide what to do for dinner so ended up doing a homemade toad in the hole with the delicious sausages bought from my local butcher yesterday. We are having apple crumble with proper custard for supper laterCan't wait :j
Mumto5 with regard to your lipstick, can you not melt what's left, in a pan or in the microwave, and then pop it into a small pot and use a lipstick brush to put it on. That way you still get to keep it. Not sure what to do with your handbag, although you could use the tip of milk from earlier
Bossy what adorable little moosI am sure they will look quite splendid in their waistcoats, that you have done a fantastic job making
You must be so proud of them, they are a credit to you honey.
Honeybear glad you finally got your money back, shame you had to go to such long lengths to get it returned though. The company should be ashamed of themselves.
Dusty hope your DS3 is feeling better

Honey Bear
Im so sorry to read of your woes with the carpet shampooer purchase - I feel slightly guilty as I suggested that company, and Ive never had any customer service problems with them myself - or I wouldnt have suggested
I'm so glad its sorted out now, though the whole things seems shocking
Hope all are well, Ive not had time to read back through everything.
Bossy, I'm glad yesterday's first anniversary was manageable at least, though I'm sure it would have been very difficult - it was also the anniversary of my dear dad's death, and as someone else said, it never really gets easier, we just learn to cope with it as time passes I think?
