  • Hope he's ok Dusty.

I've got the kitchen floor done, dw done, wm and td both on, washing nearly all finished, fire lit, stick box filled, back hall cleared.

DS2 got sent home from school so he's on the sofa watching tv. Need to lift DS3 very shortly and i'll start clearing the guttering when DS1 is home (he can hold the ladder). Think i'll leave the cleaning of car until tomorrow then hopefully i can get the powerhose going. Then the car will be glemming inside and out plus the path round the house will be done. :D

Once i get DS3 home i'll spend and hour in my bedroom, should be enough to put it tidy again.

KD went back to hospital on monday and there is talks of him going into sheltered accomodation. Which i think would do him good. Might even make him grow up abit. So fingers crossed there is accomodation available for him.

Dusty is that the same lad who was so thrilled to get the part he wanted in the school play?:( Hope he's OK.

Loo and basin all sparkly; bath plughole limescale-free; some dry washing has gone in the airing cupboard so the two hand-wash tops have been done and are merrily dripping into the bath, as I can't wring out material worth diddly; Dylan has "decluttered" in the back garden (very sensibly, he didn't want to stay outside):D and he has had a B0nio.

Next up - decluttering calories; HHWiiFit commencing 15:15, if anyone wants to do HHSomething with me.:o

Honey Bear glad you've finally got your money returned; but I still think it's a pretty poor show.

OK, the Wii beckons, so I must stop procrastinating.:D

    Hi all

Not even pretending to fly this week, but I have been busy. My littlies have a "sparkle" day at nursery next week, so I have been creating. I bought some fleece scarves from the poundshop and have made them into waistcoats. Then I've stitched beads, ribbon and sequinny bits on. They look fab, am really pleased. Hope the kiddies like them. Also have some glitter fabric pens which I've tried on a scrap of fabric to see how it dries. Never used them before and there's no instructions.

We muddled through yesterday without too much upset, and while I am sad as I feel a bit further away from him, I'm also trying to look forward and keep positive.

DK hope your little fella is ok x and hugs all round.

Afternoon all, having a bit of an off day today. Didn't get up until gone 2pm :(, and then I literally just sat on the sofa and watched Come Dine With Me, and had my lunch and meds. Been feeling a bit nauseous for a couple of days and so darn tired it's unbelievable. Weird thing is the nausea goes away come the evening..weird!! And now I have woken up I am starting to feel nauseous again :(and yes I could possibly be pregnant, as we are trying before it gets too late, but too early to tell, before anyone jumps in..lol
Anyway I am going to have a shower and see if I feel slightly better then get on with my dailies.

    Dusty hope DS3 is okay.

Sorry I haven't posted anything else, but once I am feeling more human, and read the rest of the thread, will post more later.

The teetering mound of gibble sheltering various fugitive-types will be nibbled in a bit, so any other requests for lost souls can be filed and I'll keep an eye out for them. Lord Lucan firmly on the list, CY.

The waistcoats sound lovely, Bossy Moo. Any chance of a photo?

In all the excitement regarding the carpet washer, I never got round to buying the 'new to me' Dy$on last week, so I did so today. I've tried it out in the dining room, front entrance, sitting room and one section of the stairs and IT'S BRILLIANT! The suction is amazing compared to my mother's old one, which is going to the charity to be cannibalised for spare parts.

Big shout out for the charitable organisation called Regenerate in Plymouth, which refurbishes old machines, furniture and white goods, often retraining people who need a helping hand on the employment merrygoround, and then sells them to people like me - the machines etc, not the people! The hugely helpful people in their shop this morning demonstrated various options and impressed me with their all round loveliness.

Don't worry LW, I'm on the case! Good to hear you had a better night ;)
    Better is good enough.

Yes it is LW, just back from the GP and he has tonshellitis like I thought poor thing so a week of ABs for him. Dropped DS1 at work on the way as the rain and wind has been gale force here this afternoon.
Wonder if that has delayed DS2's bus as he is not home yet.

Need to rummage for food next.
