Just popping on before I go to bed to send my thoughts and love to Bossymoo and the little moos. I have been thinking of you all, and I have a lovely yankee candle jar, that I bought today, burning for you all.

Now off to bed to read one of my new library books :D

This is NOT good enough. Send them a LETTER BEFORE ACTION demanding an immediate refund of the overpaid monies they removed from your account AND the costs of going overdrawn (save evidence eg statement) as proof just in case PLUS cost of phone calls; you should NOT be out of pocket because of Bissell's incompetence.

Thanks Valli. They have been sent a letter which details all of the things for which I expect recompense, most of which you have listed above. I'm in two minds about charging them for the saucepan I burnt the chicken stock in yesterday (it boiled dry!) because I was so upset about the whole thing. It's really affected my concentration, so I've wasted a couple of days as well.

Amazingly, they haven't shown the slightest interest in the fact that having decluttered over £900 from my bank account without permission I might be short of money. I can't think of anyone I know who could just ... do without that amount of money, for over a week and the best they can do is assure me that the funds 'will be cleared either today or tomorrow so should be in your account shortly.' Maybe they think that another four or five days until the funds are paid over and then cleared in my account, on top of the eight days they've had the money so far, is okay.

Just goes to show, doesn't it, how much they must all be overpaid not to have the slightest awareness of the hardship they've caused.
    Better is good enough.

Updated list, a little behind this week after having two days off with my husband but he is back to work today. Not actually been to bed tonight! Did light candles, not sure of the circumstances that bossy and her moos have encountered but thought of loved and lost people tonight.

    Monday - kitchen and hallway
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Three
Clean the kitchen sink, taps, plugs

Tuesday - Master Bedroom and Landing
    Level Two
Hoover the floor and skirting boards
    Level Three
Wipe a window sill or two

    Extras
Build & place new lamp in living room

20/11 - Little behind at the moment but husband goes to work tomorrow and Thursday so intend on getting caught up then!

    Hi lovelies,

Slowly working through the list and I think it is having an effect on the house...it is beginning to look neater which is a good thing!

    Monday - kitchen and hallway
    Level One - done
    Level Two - done
    Level three - done

    Extras
    Catch up on phone calls
Update diary with December plans, does the LBD need to go to the cleaners? Kids costumes for plays etc
    HHI

Tuessday - Master Bedroom and Landing
    Level One
    Change the bed
    Level Two - done
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Bin bag dance or HHTidying[/STRIKE]
Wipe a window sill or two
    From Valli
dust/vacuum or wash all light shades (pendant AND lamp) - a paintbrush makes an EXCELLENT duster for fabric-covered shades; glass shades really shine if washed in soapy water, rinsed and left to dry.

    Extras
Light a candle and think of our lovely Bossy and the little moos. Spare a thought for all those missing somebody special from their lives and show those still here just how much they mean to you.

    Wednesday - Living Room Stairs
    Level One - done
    Level Two - done
    Level Three - done

    Extras
Are you ready for when it snows, salt (or cat litter), snow shovel, frozen bread (or stash of bread flour), frozen milk, torch and batteries, hot water bottles etc in case of power outage.

    Back later x
  • Morning all, managed to get the front hall and livingroom done yesterday. Looks lovely this morning, wonder how long it will last for?

Hoping to get the back hall, utility room done aswell as the car cleaned out. I'd love to get the guttering done too if it's not too windy. Then i could get the powerhosing done on friday.

Right best get the boys up...

    Morning all :D

Bit late in joining in this week but I have been working away. I spent Monday tidying up the entire house, all those hotspots are now gone (unless they've been added to since) and I spent yesterday decluttering duplicate photos on my laptop. Still 10,000+ to sort through

Today is a paid work day, and for a change I am organised and just waiting on the delivery to arrive. Then once I've sorted that out I need to go to Mr A for paper after not-so-DD has used most of the pack for her homework! There are a few loose ones here and there, but none usable in the printer which is what I need them for

Off to get brekkie then I'll get on with work as I think I can hear the van outside now!

    Monday - kitchen and hallway
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Clean a window
    Level three
    S&S toilets and sinks
Clean the kitchen sink, taps, plugs

Tuessday - Master Bedroom and Landing
    Level One

    Change the bed
    Level Two
    Shine a mirror or window
Hoover the floor and skirting boards
    From Valli
dust/vacuum or wash all light shades

    Wednesday - Living Room Stairs
    Level Two
Drag out what furniture you safely can and hoover behind, dust the skirtings whilst you are at it
    Dust the mantle/coffee table
    Level Three
    Hoover the stairs
    Wipe the bannisters
Test your smoke alarms, ensure you have a spare battery now so that you don't need to remove one and not replace it.

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Morning all. I'm having a really busy paid stuff week, but apart from the dailies have managed to do three things off list this week:

    HHI
    Phoned bank
    Changed bedding

Must try harder. Have a good day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

Sounds fine to me - but if you're giving biscuits/choc to the staff - don't wait until the end of term to do it! Giving them a couple of weeks early lets everyone enjoy them - and means you're not rushing about at the end of term like everyone else!
