Ok, been to work, noticed after that I had a text from school saying netball was cancelled.....great as now I have to pick up DD at 3:30 and T£sco are delivering between 3 and 4!!!!
Had some food, unloaded and reloaded WM and TD, put away towels and had a cuppa.
Going to do a bit of ironing done now and hope that MrT comes between 3 and 3:20...............or waits till 3:45..............HHI starting now...............xx
  • It worked.:T

I burned some food onto the bottom of a saucepan the other day and I poured vinegar into the pan and put it back over the heat and all the burnt stuff came right off. Yay for vinegar.

WM and TD x2 and folded most so only 2 shirts to iron. DS has swimming tonight so DH taking him and then will put his stuff through WM and TD with the towels. That'll probably do me then as I am shattered

That is beautifully written and has brought a tear to my eye. It's over 40 years since I lost my dad, and it's only this last decade I've been able to go to a funeral and not cry for him. I wasn't always well behaved (thought I was a big girl) but I hope he knew how much I loved him, and still do. He was a lovely man.

Lamewolf, animal family are just as important as human ones, some you can even love better. I'll be thinking of some furry friends too, especially my little Maisie. And re Mr LW, although I'm sure he would wish you good health I'm equally sure, from what you write here, he wouldn't wish for any other wife. You relax and I hope the good wishes coming with this message get to you. Much love, R x

Revolving Door - Bicarbonate of soda and cider vinegar or white wine vinegar are also good for getting rid of cat wee smells. Makes me wonder if cat wee would clear a blocked sink! (Note to self - don't think I'll try it!!).
  • spent the afternoon wrapping and sorting bro sis and mums christmas pressies. just need to find birthday paper for niece sis and bros birthday pressies and do the cards now.
no im not peaking early its sis birthday on monday so were going over mums at weekend. if i get all these wrapped and ready to go i can declutter them over to mums house.

am taking a candle, a perfume (ive got 4 of) and a cd up to big school tonight for their christmas fayre.

Lovely school teacher just rang to let DS3 know he has the part he wanted in the school play. Lots and lots of lines to learn.

I have to drive to pick DS2 up from school in a minute, not feeling like it at all but as he has stayed late for an hour for an extra class I can't moan.

DS1 is changing his bed and dusting his room.

  • Congrats to Dusty's DS3 on his part in the school play and good luck to Dusty, who will doubtless be involved somewhere in the line learning....
