awake since 6am as smoke alarm decided to beep and flash, got DS1 and DH up sharpish and all was well.
Just me and DS3 here now and I can hear him up and coughing so I'll go check
ETA DS3 now has acute earache. It's going to be a long day.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Bossy sending oodles of love to you and the little moos plus your DH's parents and your parents too. You have been dealt such a tough hand but the strength you have shown is amazing. I can't take the pain away but I am thinking of you xxThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Morning all, am up and about as DH is WFH today  I hate it when he does that as I can't talk to him or anything, well apart from plonking a mug of tea in front of him every now and again :rotfl: Yet saying that he has fed the birds..
OMG we had 13 doves down in the garden and two male blackbirds. I have lost Mr and Mrs Dove in amongst the dove hareemHoody blackbird was seeing off a blackbird interloper, I think he won
The usual amount of starlings and sparrows were in the garden, and Asbo Robin appeared for a fleeting moment
It doesn't seem to matter that we have two lollopping dogs wandering around the garden, and "sort of hunter" cat - he does it in his sleep! - wandering around for the odd 10 minutes. Little cat doesn't even get outside, it's too bewildering for her, and she's about 12/13 years old!!
Off out this morning to my friends house for tea and chatter, so shall get back to the lists when I get home.
Must remember to pop the library books to the library on the way home from friends house. Otherwise it will be another trip out or another days charges..
My thoughts are with Bossymoo and the little moos today - you have got the first year over, it is supposed to get easier after this so I am told.

Concentrating on DD's room as in work tomorrow, Thursday morning and Friday, funeral Thursday afternoon.
DD is away with the Brownies on Friday for the weekend and we are going to paint her bedroom as a surprise so it needs gutting.........
I've pulled everything out from under her cabin bed.........how much carp fits under there!!??!! Going to have a HH sorting through it all now with a binbag and see how much I can get done.......join me if you can.................xx0 -
I went overdrawn last week because for some reason a company I bought something from on line took 10 payments out of the account for 1 transaction. They told me they'd repaid it, but as of yesterday - they hadn't. I've reported them to Trading Standards and sent them a Recorded Delivery letter, but in the meantime, I'm still out of pocket by over £900, which is why I'm in the red.
Is there anyone out there that would like me to name them so I can send the company a link to show that customers do still have some power?Better is good enough.0
