And I forgot! To say thank you for Dustykitten for the lists again and hello to Natty. I look after the birdies in the garden too, and my favourites are the wrens that have been with us for a few years now, but I feed them all! I find that H@@e B@@@@@@s have good, low priced food, mealy worms and suet pellets are half the price of other shops.

    Thanks again, R x

PS. Hello Pamsdish, I'm in a bungalow too!!

    oh dear

looks like Knittingcathy didn't make it out of her son's room then :rotfl:

(The ONLY reason I put light shades to Dusty as a suggestion was one of mine was hideous - I did it last week!)

Flying (as per usual) minimal at this part of the week.

Not impressed with the ebay buyer who paid last night at 1 minute to midnight - hope they have the courtesy not to kick off when I don't post unitl Wednesday. This was a sale LAST Tuesday mind!

    Change the bed
    Level Two
    Shine a mirror or window
Hoover the floor and skirting boards
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Bin bag dance[/STRIKE] or HHTidying

    From Valli
dust/vacuum or wash all light shades (pendant AND lamp) - a paintbrush makes an EXCELLENT duster for fabric-covered shades; glass shades really shine if washed in soapy water, rinsed and left to dry.

Light a candle and think of our lovely Bossy and the little moos. Spare a thought for all those missing somebody special from their lives and show those still here just how much they mean to you. I will do this tonight as I have a long day tomorrow and would hate to miss sending a huggle to bossymoo and her littlies. Hugs to others too missing loved ones especially our missing flylady AnW's mum

I know there are several welcomes to the thread I cant recall but I hope you enjoy you ride here. Several hugs and get well vibes as I remember there being some of those too inc Dustys lad. Oh and a big hello to soappie for popping in :hello:

I think thats all for now as I'm going to put my feet up with a cuppa then have an early night in advance of another 12 - 14 hours tomorrow.

See you all Wednesday unless I can sneak in from work.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • Good evening :D

We made the cake, but they didn't get any! I am a cruel lady :p I cooked sausage & tomato pasta, and the kids pushed it around their plates. I give up! I told them that I don't know what they want from me, as I was told they eat anything (which they clearly don't), and I am really trying to give them healthy meals. They like sausages, they like pasta, they eat tomato-based sauces  I was told by one that he wasn't really hungry. Ok, i said, no room for cake! And i stuck to it! Actually one of them ate all his dinner (although a ridiculous amount was on the floor - for an 8 year old!!), reluctantly - so he got cake. Sorry - rant over. They will get chicken nuggets tomorrow!

DD2 & I had the same dinner, and it was good! :p
DS emptied the DW (under duress), DH pulled out the sofa, hoovered under it & cleaned the skirting boards. If he carries on at this rate, they will have put the decorations up at the weekend!!

Hugs to Bossy, if you are lurking :) I will light a candle tomorrow, when the children have gone home.
