Evening all, afraid I didn't do a lot today. I got waylaid by watching the Christmas channel on the t.v, and then bawled my eyes out at the ending..lol

YAY!! Well done Natty. Are we going to get birdwatching assignments?:D

Funny you should say that LW, I could be including feed the birds or something along those lines in the list :D And then I could possibly want you all to come back and report :D We shall have to see :rotfl:

I have hoovered the downstairs, and the stairs. So that is something. Oh and I wiped the dining room table :D As well as put a wash load in, and hang a wash load on the airer to dry. The dry washing I folded up and put away :D

Not had an extreme flying day today, and may not now until after fly-baby is born - carpel tunnel is REALLY starting to kick in, so spending a good HH massaging my hands and wrists when I got out of bed, my feet are now spreading to what I call Fred Flintstone feet :rotfl:(time to put away the wedges & court shoes now, and wear flip flops and crocs) all I can do until midwife makes referral to physio just hope my pelvis holds out. really don't want to be on crutches chasing after DS...lost all the morning at hospital on unrelated matter.........so I was MIA for the rest of the day:o

Put DS in the bath, and gave a good S&S round bathroom, and had enough time to remove nail varnish that I treated myself to the other day (flying and polished nails do not mix!), then filed and buffed my nails (no point trying to paint them, as I was hoping for a bit of hardcore flying)

Hoping for a good night rest and will try and do a bit more tomorrow.:o
The cold never bothered me anyway

Dusty I'm going to try the washing up liquid on grease marks left by blue tac. Thanks for the tip.

I can't sleep. I woke up overheating. I've checked the thermostat but its on 19 so I shouldn't feel too hot. We've still got a summer duvet on our bed and were proposing to get a new winter one as we were cold at the weekend so I really can't work out what's going on.

Big hugs to Bossymoo and littlemoos.

    Good morning all

Like you, Mumto5, I have been up since 4.00 am and had done DH's packed lunch by 4.15. Yesterday morning I ricked my back badly and spent most of the afternoon asleep on the sofa under the influence of ibuprofen, so I suppose I wasn't tired enough to need more than 4 hours last night - and I had some slightly weird (though not frightening) dreams, so I was quite ready to get up when I woke. I've got work to do in the study, so I might as well get on with it while I can sit comfortably - after I've replied to the thread, of course!

DH is still buried under the duvet and is probably building up a heavy cold. I had to make him honey, lemon and glycerine for his sore throat last night because he's not allowed over-the-counter medicines in case they interfere with his prescription medication. DH is generous to a fault :A but I really don't want his cold as I need to be well enough to go to Sussex tomorrow and the West Midlands on Thursday.

Big thanks to Natty for helping Dustykitten with the lists. My birds are looking forward to being fed regularly. Juliejim, please step up and take a bow for all your valiant work since before I joined the flyladies :T

I'd really like to start doing this, but am confused by the Level 1,2,3 thing...do you just allocate whatever needs to be done, into different levels?

Welcome WantToBeSE. The daily list is posted in the first post of the thread, together with instructions on how to join in. There is a new thread each week: just follow the link at the end of this thread on Sunday to find the new one. The daily lists of jobs to be done are suggestions set out by our amazingly inventive and inspiring leaders  - but you can follow your own lists if you prefer. Level 1 is basic stuff that we really ought to do anyway, but you can set your sights higher if you want to, or allocate items from your own lists if that is easier for you. Every room comes round once a week, but not always in the same order. Personally, I vary from getting everything done up to Level 3 and Extras one week and only achieving Levels 1 or 2 the next, depending on how I'm feeling and how full my diary is with meetings / visits / grandchildren. Let us know how you're getting on: you will be amazed at how much incentive you get just from seeing what you have achieved in black and white - or even colour if you have the time to be silly occasionally :D

Kazmeister - I've heard of some good excuses in my time for not doing homework, but "I just had to fly instead" was never one of them :rotfl:

Well done for sticking to your guns about the cake, Goodintentions. I managed to bake my cakes yesterday evening: the house smells wonderful with all the spices I put in :)

Mummyyof5, hope you remember to switch on your SC this morning. That reminds me: I need to get a cooked meal out of the freezer for tonight (eating up the last remnants of frozen before making more) and fresh meat to go in my SC for tomorrow.

Skint Breeder - that carpal tunnel syndrome sounds OUCH! Be easy on yourself and that precious flybaby.

(((Hugs to all who need them)))

Special thoughts for Bossymoo and the little moo moos <3

Had a bad migraine whilst out yesterday. Hopefully it will not reappear today.

DS1 lost his phone on way to school. It took me 6 hours of sorting to find the invoice so I can try to claim on the insurance. I only rang them yesterday to add my new phone. DS1 is grounded.

Thank you for your hard work juliejim x
Natty well done for volunteering. I won't be able to do bird feeding as I have an expert killing machine cat (aka Miss Muddy Paws) also DS2 is anaphylactic to nut/peanuts so we can not buy a lot of the bird food. We do have a few robins that visit, a couple of wood pigeons name Peter & Paul and have had a woodpecker who I was excited about until he pecked all my fence posts.
Off to get dressed as I have a phone call to make at 8am
