I have now, finally, a week late, had the explanation of why the money has not, after all, been repaid. I still don't have the money, but it's a start. I've told the company that the posts will stay on the thread, naming them, until I have the money back in the account, because I can no longer trust them to keep their word.

It's amazing how powerful the MSE website is, isn't it? I heart MSE and Flyladies!

This is NOT good enough. Send them a LETTER BEFORE ACTION demanding an immediate refund of the overpaid monies they removed from your account AND the costs of going overdrawn (save evidence eg statement) as proof just in case PLUS cost of phone calls; you should NOT be out of pocket because of Bissell's incompetence.

(Can you tell I give posters on the consumer thread the benefit of my extensive legal knowledge? :rotfl:)

    I have ironed

Thinking of Bossy, and her babies, and their Grandparents

And I'm not overdrawn - but I'm MIGHTILY relieved payday drops a couple of days early this month...

DS3 has been asleep in my bed for a while, considering he has done nothing for 4 days other than lie around you wouldn't think he'd be that tired.

Just going to update my list and head to bed myself very soon.

Candle is lit for Bossymoo and her loved ones xx

Dusty DS is on day 4 now, have you seen Dr? Are antib1otics needed for the ear pain? Is your temp ok? I was overheating last night. Unbelievably despite losing 3 hours sleep if not felt too tired today. I hope I don't pay for it tomorrow.

I went off list today to deal with the washing/ironing mountains that have accumulated from ds1 and 2 mucking out their rooms.

Our front hedge of vicious pyracantha (sp) is much diminished. Our back garden right hand side hawthorn trees are also similarly smaller. My purse is much lighter but it is worth it. The hedge chaps had to go out to buy reinforced gloves. We really have nasty burglar deterrent shrubs!

I will be back on list tomorrow. I hope I don't have another sleepless night. I can't fly for fear of waking the rest of hhe family. The kettle was well used making calming camomile tea!
  • Popping in to add my thoughts and prayers to all the wonderful comments for bossymoo and the little moos xx

And also for all those we have loved and lost, whenever and however xx

I have a HM purple candle allocated for later on

I can't get away from the feeling that Mr LW deserves a much better wife than I am; this stupid thing impacts on everything; including areas of life I have a very hard time talking about; I'm having a hard time, I have to be honest - if anyone could throw a few "acceptance-of-situation" vibes my way, I'm certain it'd help.:o

You can have as many "acceptance-of-situation" vibes as you need :happylove:happylove:happylove however... please remember that Mr LW loves you and knows he is lucky to have snared such an amazing woman xx

Interesting you have a purple candle... I was drawn to orange

Much love to bossy, little moos & all family and friends :A:A:A
