Sent my papers to court on friday 26th may who served Halifax the papers on fri 1st june so have until the 15th for halifax to make there minds up.
Lady i spoke to from the courts said that the judges have been told to keep all claims on hold for now, and so alot of backlog is building at Southend county court.
She also said alot of the banks are settling before court date is set anyway, so fingers crossed, i should here from the banks about my 5k within the next week.0 -
Hi, I went into the court today because the bank's (lloyds) deadline for acknowledgement was yesterday. The lady checked and they hadn't replied so I filled out the default judgement part of the form.
I thought that was it but she said the bank could ask for the judgement to be 'put aside' while they defended it. What is the point of having a deadline then?! I'm confused!
So what happens now? Does this look promising? is there a time frame I should be looking at? *scratches head* I want my money!!

Hi,
I filed my claim at LCC as I thought it would be easier to fill in the paper work with someone there to guide me (and it was!!!)
I filed it on 16th May and recieved a response from the A & L solicitors Wragge and Co on 24th May, complete with an acknowledgement of service.
I then received their defence on 31st May, which was all basically rubbish. Basically, they claimed that I hadn't sent any details of these charges or listed what each charge was apparently for, which I had!
So on 1st June, I wrote directly to the solicitors, stating the dates that the bank had received all the schedules of charges etc, and I enclosed a copy of them all again 'for their records'.
Yesterday, I received a AQ from the court, which I have until 18th June to file.
I must admit, this AQ has baffled me and I do not have a clue how to go about completing it, but I'm sure I'll figure it all out eventually!
I have prepared my court bundle, but the only thing I'm really baffled on is when do I have to send this?? If anyone could help, I'd be really grateful0 -
What a pile off poo, well Lloyds hadn't acknowledged my claim by the 1st so off went my judgement forms to the court. I've rang the court today to be told they have a backlog of judgements they're dealing with and until my judgement has been processed if Lloyds submit a defence it will prioritise over my judgement even though the date has well and truly passed, HUHMember & fundraiser for Meningitis Research Foundation0

I sent my request for judgment on the 9th May!! it was returned to me to amend on 16th May. Sent it back to Court on 21st May. I have been ringing the Court every day to see if it has been issued yet.
Yesterday I was told it was in the pile due to be dealt with yesterday.
Today I was told it would definatley be dealt with today!
Tomorrow it will probably be on the top of the pile!!
Lloyds were supposed to acknowledge by 8th May ( they did on the 16th May)
Lloyds should have defended by 22nd May ( still havent)
I know they musty be really busy, but Im Sooooooo impatient.0 -

I sent 1 st letter to Lloyds TSB requesting list of all charges in last 6 years, have claimed online and it says issued on 4/6/07 claim accepted, and in the judgement box it says started, can someone tell me what i do next?
Wait, wait and wait some more!
If claim issued on 4/6/07 you have to wait until the 18th June to see if Lloyds acknowledge the claim.
If they dont ( been happening quite a bit lately) you can request judgment by default on 19th June
If they do they then get a further 14 days to enter a defence. If no defence is filed by 2nd July, you can request judgment by default.
As you are doing this online it will not let you request judgment until the correct amount of time has passed.
After that i dont know, this is as far as i have got.
GOOD LUCK0 -
Hi all, I got a copy of the judgement sent to Lloyds through the post this morning. (They didn't acknowledge by the given date) Does this mean I have won or can they still manage to stick the boot in and de-rail things?!
I want my money!! lol!
