Looks like it's a way for agencies to mass collect CVs.

    ..but don't bother phoning them...

On their 'About Us' page they describe the phone support (their capitalisation, their quotes, my colouring):

OUR "REALLY HELPFUL" TEAM ARE WAITING FOR YOUR EMAIL OR PHONE CALL

Usually such sarcasm would be reserved for someone else's helpline, not your own!

they are not spam as such just wrong dates and when you click there is another date shown

How can ANYONE advertise a job 2 years in advance? The site is rubbish - more rubbish than any other site out there.

I even mentioned to the job centre last week in a group session about the fake job for a Princess on there when it went live and everyone laughed. The girl at the JC had heard nothing about this or jobs like this where people have been allowed to et up employers accounts with NO CHECKS!

    You don't know that.

The whole site is infested with bulk uploaded unverified "jobs", which is spam.

They are 3rd part adverts from other sites who advertise jobs for agencies. All of which are probably advertised elsewhere.

the JC do not check anything on the site at all

The GG website is to become compulsary to EVERYONE that claims ANYTHING, and is being trialled in Wigan. My area.

You need to log into it, on a monthly basis, to claim housing benefit, DLA, etc, whatever benefit you might receive, as a register to make sure that the unemployed were not sat on their !!!!, and receive a monthly payment, rather than bi-weekly. This payment also includes housing costs, but excludes poll/council tax payments automatically, the unemployed need to do that manually through their bank. But as 30% of unemployed don't have a bank, that is going to be difficult to implement. They are going to lose their homes.

It's all based on a unique membership codenumber, that you receive when you sign up to the GG website (which isn't mandatory, as you visit the site - agree with it's T&C, or not - when you get a letter from the dole that you have to sign, that's the time it beomes mandatory),

Remember the Government bringing out a universal ID card? A while back? This is it. The user ID logs all your data, what jobs you look for, what websites you visit, how long you spend on your phone or computer, where you go, and who you speak to..
