Just wondering if anyone has had any feedback from any of the applications they have sent via the request feedback button, I know that I haven't.

I've applied for quite a bit through UJ. Even contacting employers direct - rather than just the "apply" button and I am yet to have a response.

I applied for a job with the apply button, it appeared in my 'activity history' or whatever they call it. It has now disappeared from the list, along with any activity other than the day I registered with the site. Thanks, Universal Jobmatch.

I think they only stay on there for 90 days

I'll leave it for the moment. I signed on today and they ushered me out while I was still trying to ask them questions. Literally cut me off with a 'right, okay, that's your next signing on date, okay... bye'. I'll leave anything JCP related for the rest of the day and focus on my other/better methods of job searching :) Maybe UJ will right itself. Wishful thinking, but hey...

I've been to sign on today, and was out the door, before I took a breath.

I asked about the Universal Credit, as I have been billed for council tax, and thought the new UC covered that, payed monthly, but that doesn't apply, to existing users.

But still they wanted me out of there quick as...

So I asked, where does the £20 extra a month come from, when you pay me bi-weekly, when the paydate is 7/4/13?, because you might pay me short of that payment, due to be payed today? (hopefully!). The dole just said, like it or lump it, pay more.

So effecively; the dole payment has been reduced by £20 a month; but LEGALLY, it says in their letters; 'BY LAW WE MUST PAY YOU THIS" - Yeah, before all the electric and gas and water payments you take out BEFORE I receive it. So the figures don't add up.

Today received a phonecall from the police in regards to Feb 12th of this year telling me I have to go to the policestation. Should be interesting, reminds me of the phrase "making a mountain out of a mole hill"

Just wait for the new payment scheme to come into effect when all benefits are changed over to it.
And alot more people will be sanctioned, even those of you who have never been sanctioned before because of the new failures in the new system which they haven't told anyone about yet.

"War huh, what is it good for, absolutely nothing" song called war

back from the policestation and what a story that both woman had put down on their "report", both put down what i said WRONG and out of context, to quote them on the report "he said he wanted to throw acid in our faces" when i simply told them about the yahoo story i read about an advisor having acid thrown in their face, didn't read where but somewhere up north, manchester, liverpool etc.
infact, it was the advisor who said "Oh, so you want to throw acid in our faces," to which i replied "No, I never said that,"

Its obvious to me but not the police that both woman's report where to word for word matched. aka sounds like the next day they where put in the same room together and decided what they where going to put down, of course with some slight differences afterall if they said identically the same thing it would be to obvious.
So what happened in the end, I got an £80 fine. As i said to the cop, now i just need to see if I got £80 to pay for it. depends if i've been paid anything this month.
