Amex Foursquare promotion

  • Anyone else had more than one cash back from a single transaction with 4Square? I bought 2 x £50 gift vouchers on two different Amex cards last month and checking today I see that I've been credited with 2 x £25 refunds on each card. So, effectively £100 for free as it stands but no doubt Amex will notice the mistake and correct it!

I got it twice as well. I have my doubts they will decide to do something about it...

New Amex Foursquare offer has opened up (or at least I've not seen it before). It's for Harrods again but unfortunately isn't as good as the last one. Spend £100, get £25 back. Not the best but if you were planning on spending the money anyway then its still a good deal.

Anything apart from Harrods? I am a relative Foursquare newbie, how do I find out the monthly specials? So far, a mate has tipped me off on the Shell and Debenhams deals but I feel I should be giving back by finding a great new deal myself....

No, nothing new yet. Amex are particularly slack with their marketing emails and updates.

The Debenhams one was lovely - - I always buys some brand cosmetics there , about £50 a month. Last month was a very welcome £25 only! (I know I could save £45 a month if I bought my face cream at ASDA, but a girl needs her little luxuries)

The Quidco app offers this in the UK. You get between 5p and 15p cashback just for checking into a shop.

In the USA you get between 10-25% off just for checking in at some stores! Can be used on top of other discounts instore too!

Nice to see you here innovate. You know with additional card holders (Amex issued cards with different numbers), each card can be linked to a separate foursquare account and benefit from the offers (sorry if I'm teaching Gandma to suck eggs).
    I think....

I've yet to receive the cashback from the 9th March for my Lloyds avios card for debenhams, fenwicks and shell. The same has happened to my partner. On prior deals the cashback arrived within a few days.

Llloyds customer service are crap when it comes to understanding the existence of these offers. I've sent an email to registeredcardsupport@aexp.com from the email address I use for my card. They seem much more proactive.

It's no surprise they're crap, CSA's are not trained or even advised about the existence of this, therefore it's no good blaming them.

If you have an issue with AMEX/Foursquare you need to complete THIS

You should receive a response within 24 hours, but it does state very clearly that credits can take up to two statement periods to be allocated.
