In Halifax branches the legal charge notice says to not register to Trinity Road as this is not their registered address, as Halifax is now a division of Bank of Scotland Plc as "Halifax Plc" no longer exists
unless you use the address of the branch?0 -
yes keep going, just hope this damn OFT ends soon0

What name - Halifax plc or BOS plc
What address - Trinity Round or the new one in Scotland0 -
Do not put Halifax plc, as this is no longer valid
Trinity Road still exists but is not the registered address , nor head office0 -

Surely the money is a goodwill gesture so where do I stand?? Can they demand it back?? What should I do??
Any help?!?!0 -
I know this is very small potatoes compared to most of you folks but I've just been left so furious after logging into my online HBOS account.
One of my DD came out a day earlier than I expected (hence the title of stupid me!) and took me £2.90 over my agreed overdraft, I have a wee alert on my account that I have unviewed documents so I click to see what it is.
A letter in my bank inbox telling me I am over my limit and that they will be charging me £28 at the end of October because of it!
Now I do believe they should fine me something, after all it was my fault. (I curled up and pretended the world didn't exist while I had the flu)
What I don't think is fair is that they can email me to tell me that I have statements waiting to be viewed (a service I don't honestly need) BUT they can't email me to tell me that I have gone overdrawn or even that I have a letter telling me off after the event. If I hadn't felt better today and logged in I would still be acrueing interest as we speak.
I've emailed them as to be honest my voice is still a little yucky with the after effects of being ill and add to that a Scottish accent and I don't think I would get very far on the telephone, I doubt I'll hear from my enquiry but I will definitely pop into my branch when I feel better.
Right, I feel better now for raging about it, thank you if you read this and managed not to shake your head and call me silly!

Received an email reply telling me to telephone the Customer Service desk. I have to say they were very nice to me. Explaining that as this has never happened before they would definitely waive it for me this time. I will wait and see what happens on the 31st of October but so far I'm pleased with the result.Quidco: £192.36, Pigsback: £40 vouchers, MT: £32 vouchers, CI: £50 HPF: £137.57 Swagbucks: 99Lloyds TSB Loan: Cleared March 2008, 5 months early.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 954 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -
