LW read some very interesting articles about herbs that help with pain and some interesting research about pain going on in America will see if I can find them and put links up here.
Thanks:A that would be brilliant. I'll take any info going at this point, as I'm hurting so much, despite morphine, that I could cry.

I'm OK til I move - and when I say move, I mean move enough to click a computer mouse.:(

I'm so determined to get something done today though; I have some membership paperwork come through by email yesterday; and Flying-wise it's bathroom day in the Wolf's Lair. Not sure how I'm going to scrub the loo with wrist splints on - could prove interesting!

I've just updated our finance spreadsheets - should've done it yesterday, but I was so exhausted I feared making errors, so left it til today.

Dins is already made - 2nd half of yesterday's lasagne, as Mr LW is on late shift today.

Roll on Friday - Jessie will be arriving for a three-night stay. I think it's just the dogs that keep me going at present!

Apologies if I sound a right misery - it's hard to be upbeat under current circumstances.

Dusty I too would like to know how young Ed's doing.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Flyladies an Gents, I have just had a very odd experience. My neighbours have taken in a stray and said they didn't have time to take it to the vet to get it scanned for a microchip. I offered to do so for them and they said 'But we don't have pet insurance!'

Would anyone else feel that they have decided to keep it anyway, and would only have 'let' me take it to the vet if I had paid? And that they don't want to know if it's microchipped?
    Better is good enough.

Strong minded, carry out the threat Mum is on the thread. DD1 got my wrath today. I pointed out that we had both worked the day before and I would love to sit and watch trash TV oblivious to the mess around me. She has swept the hard floors (they need a mop run over them) and washed up but not cleaned the sink afterwards.

I've cleaned the bathroom and en-suite porcelain and shower screens. Gathered washing from laundry bins and left everything that is not in the laundry bin on the floor. DW unloaded. WM x 3.

DS3 is running in the district cross country at 1 pm. He's having lunch right before he runs (as are all the kids) I predict upchucking after the race.

Dusty any more news about Ed?

My friend's daughter is being moved today.
She is very troubled :( Thanks for the get well vibes.

Sending calmer healing vibes to Mother and daughter.

Thanks for asking about Ed (and you too LW) I saw his Dad last week and they are all very happy with how he is doing. He comes home every weekend now. He can move about in his wheelchair but finds this very tiring. He can now move from the floor to the sofa on his own (in 6 seconds!). He is in lots of groups at the hospital as part of his therapy, quiz team, football chat etc. He is happy in himself which is great too.

Shopping with DS2 done and I have an hour and a half now until I go back out so a bit on her and a bit of sorting/decluttering is planned.

Very strange, I wouldn't have thought you'd need to pay to just it scanned for a chip.
They obviously don't care if it has a chip cos they want it but if they don't have time to take it to the vet themselves shouldn't they be thinking whether they have time to look after a cat at all? :(
  • right HHI done....off to get eyebrows done now....bye bye Wolverine, hello sleek shapely brows :D:D:D
