DS3 came 12th in the District Cross Country. He's very happy about it. It was a sunny warm day without wind so quite an enjoyable experience. Its normally freezing, windy and raining.

WM Loaded again. DS1 has brought down his entire wardrobe and several towels from his bedroom floor. It's going to be a long night in the utitility room.

Bossy way back in the mists of time (mid 90's) when I only had 2 children I went from PT to FT. I ended up feeling resentful that the childminder spent more time with my children. I had to work because DH's XW didn't work and he was paying extortionate maintenance via the CSA for DSD and DSS. I did it for 3 years and then had DS2. I've only worked part time since with a few blips to cover busy periods etc.

  • Back from Argo - I thoroughly enjoyed it - as did DD1! I didn't fall asleep, but I do feel rather rough though - a bit nauseous and rather shivery. Hopefully it's just the tirednes.....

  • Where is my GUAG? Who has it, be honest now?

Other than WM on and walking the dog before I went to work, I haven't touched the lists. I'm picking up friends at 9am tomorrow, after school run, and the 10 of us are going away for a long weekend of walking and staying in a luxury bunkhouse - so excited, I can't wait! It's put other pressures on today like hoovering out the car, buying food for the weekend, waterproofing coats and boots etc.,

Just need to declutter DD to Brownies in half an hour and buy a few last minute things in Mr S whilst she's there, make a veggie chilli for the one veggie in the group and pack my bags and then I think it's an early night for me unless I find my GUAG beforehand.

Decision made! We'll stay as we are and I'll crank the hours up when they are both in school or when universal credit makes us destitute ;) whichever happens first xxx

Bossy Moo I'm not a mum, but I know you've made the right decision. These are years you will never be able to get back with your little Moos. I hope you enjoy them and can afford to enjoy the time together. xx

Right, ladies (and gents?) I've been thinking for awhile about getting a H2o mop x5.
    What do you all think?

Wendy, this is the one I have......great for floor mopping, attachments ok, but I usually spend more time looking for the attachments than I do using them....although I would say the shower/glass cleaner isn't as great as the advert makes out.:p
The cold never bothered me anyway
