    Hi all

Just popping in as Honey Bear has kindly asked how I got on; bit of a waste of time going, really, imho, in that I'm no further forward, and still in agony, but rheumy doesn't want to see me again, unless something shows up in blood tests (how I'm to know when something will show up is beyond me, and I'm not about to volunteer for a test for fun!) Nothing's shown up this time around, so there's nothing for her to work with drug-wise; but she is going to write to GP and ask for me to be referred (again) to Pain Clinic. I notice she carefully doesn't mention to me the fact that lupus can often throw up false negatives in blood tests.... but then, I suppose she still wouldn't have a scooby on what to tweak drug-wise. So I just keep taking the tablets and wait to see the Pain Clinic. :(

Mr LW very kindly did a Level One flutter round the hall and lounge when we got back,:A as I was in agony, and had a headache like you wouldn't believe – still got it, but a dose of Oramorph has taken the edge off it, thank the gods. And I've managed to eat a bit of dinner; couldn't eat at lunchtime (nerves probably).

Tooch I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Dancemum healing vibes for your friend's DD.

Skinty why not put a reminder in your phone for Thursday – just the word “Leaves” should be sufficient;;) Mr LW does this a lot; when there's a bag of dog poo to be dropped off at the poo bin on his way to work, he'll just have a reminder saying “Poo”.:rotfl:

Mumto5 don't feel guilty – empty threats are no use whatsoever; you have to follow through, imho. They were warned what would happen, it's their own fault for not heeding the warning.

I need to go and set the video for a programme Mr LW want recording so I'd better do that before I forget.

Many thanks for all the kind wishes.:o

 yuk alert, don't read if you are eating...

Parents evening. Saw DS key person first. He's had a toilet accident today. They'd gone up to the school club room as the plumber was in the preschool one, and
Their version: he went to the toilet and came out again, saying he hasn't been and didn't need to wash his hands. He was asked to wash them anyway. Shortly after, it appears he has soiled himself.
His version: he asked to go to the toilet, T was supervising, and he couldn't go so came out. C was there so he asked her again and she said to wash his hands, he said he hasn't been, and she wouldn't let him go, so he did it in his nappy!

He doesn't have nappies, only a pullup for bed, and hasn't had a soiling accident in the 18mths since he was first potty trained, other than when he had upset tummy once. So I'm not really sure what's gone on.

Needless to say, they binned his pants, and bagged everything else up (their washer was in use) so everything is in the wash now as apparently it made a real mess.

He's nearly four, and not exactly keen on taking responsibility, iyswim, but on the other hand, it is sooo unlike him to do that. He hasn't got a sore tummy, he isn't upset about it, and there were no other incidents (fights or telling offs I mean).

So I can only assume he really did think he wasn't allowed to go to the toilet?

    Sorry for prattling on...

sorry to hear it wasnt the best use of your time today LW and i hope that you manage to get some sleep/rest tonight so that you are feeling better in the morning and that your headache clears.

im just going to turn the puter off and get on with a bit more christmas knitting

    'see' you all tomorrow

eddit just read your post bossy and i really think that your DS was under the impression he wasnt allowed to go, it sounds strange that he hasnt had an 'accident' for ages then this happens.
their version of events sound like as5 covering to me!!!! play it down tell DS it wasnt his fault he couldnt use the toilet and make sure you let them that next time if he says he wants to go they let him.

    I haven't had a bad day today :)

Beds made, dishwasher emptied, DD ready for school, tidied up after breakfast, watched some Flylady Youtube videos :D

Then I cleaned the entire bathroom, changed cistern blocks etc, polished living room, including getting a chair to clean ceiling and wall lights properly. Dusted leather sofa and panels in living room door.

I washed all the windows in the house (and used my new Karcher Window Vac...love it :D). 10 large windows in conservatory, a set of patio doors, 7 other windows and 2 glass doors.

I left out a bag of handbags, table mats and bits and pieces outside to be collect by the British Heart Foundation.

Sorted mail, still need to do some shredding.

DH brought down DD's new dolls house from attic and assembled it and put it back in the attic (can't wait to see her face on Christmas morning ;)).

I had hoped to get the house vacuumed and floors mopped :( May get a chance after dinner.

I'm off now to make dinner and have a shower after I've tidied up again :j

So I made dinner (spaghetti carbonara and salad), cleared up, helped DD get ready for bed and get her inhalers. Left out her clean uniform for tomorrow.

Then I emptied the crumb tray in the toaster and gave it a good shake out. I'm the only one in this house who hardly ever eats toast, yet I'm also the only person who decrumbs the toaster

Loaded dishwasher, cleaned sink, emptied rubbish bin. Vacuumed whole house and vacuumed the lint that had collected in the tumble drier. Put front & back door mats in for a quick wash.

Had shower, dried hair. Hung mats over kitchen chairs to dry and reloaded the washing machine with dark wash ready to switch on in the morning.

I'm blooming knackered now, hoping DH will make me a cuppa ;)

I've just had a read through the last days postings, hugs going out to anyone who wants or needs them...

My husband is at work tonight so I am going to get the last few bits done so I can start tomorrow up to date with everything! Need to get the drying up & washing up done from the baking session I've had today and find a suitable pot for another batch of cupcakes! Think I can rest a little more tomorrow, can't believe that it is 9pm already! Half hour flying for me from NOW!

    Thanks mrs m-p

They usually just go themselves in the preschool, they don't so much ask permission, as just announce to the room where they are going, lol. But yes, I will tell them what he's told me and make it clear I believe him.

Random list of bits left for tomorrow and beyond

Get your car ready for winter, check scrapper, deicer, water, chocolate, shovel blankets for bad weather.
15 minutes of exercise or meditation, or just pondering

Clean any shoes or boots which need it

    Feed house plants if neglected

    Living Room and Dining Room
Sort out a cupboard/drawer/display cupboard - do you need all that stuff tucked away at the back?
    Wipe phones/games and tv controls
    15 minutes on a hotspot
Spot clean rugs or carpet - bar of plain white soap and hot water works well on mine.

Clear at least some of the stuff from the landing
    HH on emails

    DS2&3 bank accounts

Bossy don't worry (you've enough on your plate). He made a conscious decision to do it so it wasn't an accident as such, he felt he had no choice. I found as they get a bit older they change their routines so that they always go at home, he is still a bit little for that. The main thing is he isn't upset and you're not cross.
