  • I had to ask advice from my ex how to get it out when I did mine last week (he used to be a WM engineer!)

somewhere on the WM drawer there will be a little catch to depress with your finger, then holding the catch down, the drawer can then slide out....

on lots of models (but not all) the catch is usually towards the back of the drawer between the powder and conditioner departments, and the catch may be a different colour to the main drawer - often pale blue

if in doubt note the model number of your machine and google it remove dispenser drawer and you might even be lucky enough to find a utube video showing exactly how

    HTH
    :D

    Thank you!

Have got on with today's list as best I can. 3 year old has decided he hates the Hoover. he was standing with his hands over his ears and his face screwed up!

Bossy Moo We have an assortment of pillows - synthetic for people with allergies, fevver for OH and anyone else who likes them, one memory pillow for me at the holiday chalet because I wanted to try them after they came out (it's very comfortable) and a dunl0pill0 for me at home. My suggestion would be to get an assortment so that you can find out what type you prefer and anything you don't find comfortable should go on the spare bed! I would recommend machine washable / tumble dry ones.

Too Choosey I'm so sorry about your BIL. Please accept a hug for both you and your OH.

Dance Mum Oh how I envy you your GUAG dealing with the old Frog and not allowing the new paperwork to become one. I'm still trying to get round to reading various bits of newspapers so I can vote on Thursday. It's becoming a frog, and I have enough of them to be going on with.

Helen Jelly What is in the water? I/someone left the freezer door open yesterday and I only found out this afternoon when I went downstairs to get another pack of chicken breasts out for Dog. I'm afraid I just grabbed said packet and slammed it shut.

I didn't wake up until 11.00 am this morning! I knew I was tired but that hasn't happened for at least a decade, so I'm spending the day doing as little as possible. Dog is absolutely fine, better than she's been for a month, so she's spending the day snoozing, too.

Lamewolf When you get a moment and feel like it, could you let us know how it hossy appt went? Thinking of you.
    Better is good enough.

OK I finished early, as I'm waiting on some results and he said he couldn't do them before 3. So I left with the intention of checking when I got home. Still no results, so had a fly, checked again, and still no results! He is very naughty!

Had a very quick zoom to poundstretcher en route, decluttered £s and adopted 4 silentnight pillows, a pair of mittens, a new iron and a box of biscuits :o

Did the floor last night (and used the hoover brush as duster lol), including under sofas, which I then cleaned. So I've s&s the loo and wiped round the doors. My car is all set for winter already, and I am just about sorted for Christmas, although I did find out about a festival I heard about on the radio that we can visit at the end of next week, to hopefully lift our spirits.

Got parents evening at 5 so I hope this email arrives in time for me to juggle it!

ETA It's here now, off I go (no cuppa, then :()

  • I haven't had a bad day today :)

Beds made, dishwasher emptied, DD ready for school, tidied up after breakfast, watched some Flylady Youtube videos :D

Then I cleaned the entire bathroom, changed cistern blocks etc, polished living room, including getting a chair to clean ceiling and wall lights properly. Dusted leather sofa and panels in living room door.

I washed all the windows in the house (and used my new Karcher Window Vac...love it :D). 10 large windows in conservatory, a set of patio doors, 7 other windows and 2 glass doors.

I left out a bag of handbags, table mats and bits and pieces outside to be collect by the British Heart Foundation.

Sorted mail, still need to do some shredding.

DH brought down DD's new dolls house from attic and assembled it and put it back in the attic (can't wait to see her face on Christmas morning ;)).

I had hoped to get the house vacuumed and floors mopped :( May get a chance after dinner.

I'm off now to make dinner and have a shower after I've tidied up again :j
