Oooh, 12yr old DD just went upstairs up to bed and when she was brushing her teeth she wiped her finger across the sink and said "wow, who cleaned this, its really shiny"! I am very chuffed but also embarrassed that it is such a big deal

Good evening
Children were a nightmare tonight - lots of squabbling and tale-telling  Needless to say, I was the one picking up after them, and wiping the table after them (twice!) and sweeping up food from the floor & tipping it away from plates. I don't know why I bother!
LR tidy now, & hoovered through. I asked DS to take the dog out when he got in from school, as DH wasn't well. He ended up going with DH (what is the point!!). At least the dog was walked.
Washing up done, DW on.
I have ordered my steam mop - got it from Robert Dyas rather than direct - got free postage & cashback
DH has said that he is not going to work tomorrow - so at least he should be able to sleep tonight (the stress of going to work keeps him awake) - although he has been dozing most of the evening already.
I am going to bed now. Night night all x0 -

Skinty why not put a reminder in your phone for Thursday – just the word “Leaves” should be sufficient;;) Mr LW does this a lot; when there's a bag of dog poo to be dropped off at the poo bin on his way to work, he'll just have a reminder saying “Poo”.:rotfl:
Thanks for the idea LW! I have alarms going off all over the place for my meds.....my phone has enough memory for one more saying leaves, the idea of Mr LW reminder saying "Poo" is funny
If I don't do it Thursday, I might end up with compost, so I will definitely do it!The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
