    Evening all
Hugs to those needing them, and hoping those with difficult days have managed so far

Not long in and list looks like this:-

Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs, downstairs loo
    Level One
Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Dust Electricals[/STRIKE][STRIKE]
Clean underneath or behind something if you can
Clean the downstairs loo and basin
    [/STRIKE]Level Three
    [STRIKE]Wipe door frames/picture rails[/STRIKE][STRIKE]
    15 minutes on a hotspot
Spot clean rugs or carpet - bar of plain white soap and hot water works well on mine.

    [/STRIKE]Extras
[STRIKE]Get your car ready for winter, check scrapper, deicer, water, chocolate, shovel blankets for bad weather.
Do one thing for Christmas [/STRIKE]

Lucky me, no downstairs loo, carpets and rugs clean, car was sorted last week so all I need to do is hoover - which was on my plan anyway. Not sure after that, may file some of the large paperwork pile which is an ongoing frog, I clear it and it appears again....:o

After that I may attempt some ironing - hate the thought, but love the resulting piles of clothes ready to wear :)

Honey Bear It does feel like a weight off my shoulders but I have plenty of other giants.

My fridge/ freezer has an alarm which go off if either door is left open.

BM Hope your email arrived in time.

Roast dinner cooked, eaten and cleared away. Bathroom S&S yet again.
  • got DS from nursery he was not in a co-operative enough mood to let me get on with the [email]v@xing....or[/email] tired enough to put down for a nap

so decided to tie up the gate, get out DS pedal car and let him play in the front while I swept and bagged leaves before the rain turns them into a slippery mess.....just filled one big bag when DD2 rang saying she had gone and got a facial piercing done and she has got a bad swelling could I go get some ibuprofen:mad::mad::mad:

I was a bit cross cos she was supposed to be on her way home already so I could go to my retina scan appointment.....bungled DS back in car with offending leaves to take to dump and get some pills on the way, got the pills, drove to dump but forgot they are now closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.....so leaves are in boot still and I must remember for Thursday :D:D:D

Let DD3 in, went to train station with DS to meet DD2 and do a hostage exchange :eek::eek: - I got on her train and she took DS home.....I was nearly an hour early for my appointment, so I booked appointment to get eyebrows sorted tomorrow (I am starting to give Wolverine a run for his money :rotfl:)
then I went and sat down in opticians....when I walked in through the door, they said they would try to do the retina scan without the eye drops because of the fly-baby bump, but if the photos were no good, I would need to go have another scan after she arrives

they spent quite a while trying to get my pupils as wide as a bush baby, and got the photos they were after........one of the photos is going away for further assessment as there looks to be a crease in my right retina, which may well be a result of fly-baby....or then again it may not....will probably be called back for another assessment in the new year

left the optician to see car brakes lights queuing, then noticed the level crossing was down - as there is an hour between trains it was always going to be touch and go if I was going to make the train or not.......so I legged it, pushed past the copious floods of people exiting the train, hammered on the door button like a mad woman, collapsed in the seat as the train started to pull out of the station the wrong way :eek::eek:

fortunately, it is only one more stop to the end of the line, before it came back to the stop where I got on, 7 minutes after I started running like a crazy person :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

so I have come in, taken DS to bed, watched children's TV and not done a scrap of flying since.....DS is now asleep, I am catching up on Celebrity online and resting my eyes with sunglasses on...I expect to fly again at stupid o'clock, so I will say TTFN :D
The cold never bothered me anyway

I've lost my temper with the kids. They were fighting in the LR which looked like a bomb had hit it. I told them to pack it in and tidy up or there would be no dinner. 10 minutes later only DS3 (8) is valiantly tidying up. DD2, DS2 were sat on the sofa watching TV. They have both been sent to bed without dinner. DD2 howled. DS2 looked shellshocked when he realised it wasn't an idle threat. DS1 is not being fed until he replaces the box of maltesers he consumed. I feel a tad guilty but I am so fed up of being the only person to put anything away.

I need a cup of tea. DH left his phone at home and has been uncontactable all day. He left at 6.10 this morning and is still not home.

I'm really fed up. Fish pie anyone? I have loads left over?
