I'm sorry, Phil, but you're beyond help while you have that attitude. It will follow you through life, that inner critic, and blight everything you do because you choose to compare yourself to others and never measure up. Live by your own standards, not someone else's. You're not so important that anyone will care about your marks and results. Anything I say from here on in will probably be repeating myself, so I'll refrain. I hope you get yourself sorted out at some point in your life.Nelly's other Mr. Hyde0 -
If that's your perspective, no-one will be able to talk you out of it.
I'll believe your second comment when you stop posting here and concentrate on your work. After your comments this evening, I now understand why you get the reaction you do.
I am going to show you all and make you all proud of me. I am going to get down to my work and do good essays. And make myself proud of myself for having a degree.:beer:0 -
Why didnt u listen then and get a job. If ur not the sharpest crayon in the box its ok. Just get a job that is acheivable, why do u think u have to be a manager.
You cannot manage yourself Phil. Just get an ordinary job like the rest of us. Stop having ideas above your station. By all means finish your degree you may a s well now seeing as its nearly up.
Like you said you may as well put the effort in now, so log off and do some bloody work. You are not the only person in life who has had things hard, and what u have had hard beats me, u are still treated like you are 12.0 -

Listen to who? Listen to myself that I have hated this course and not fitted in from day one. Because I do not want to disappoint my parents.:beer:0 -

!!!!!! Phil pull yourself together, i do hope that you knuckle down and do some bloody work! So how is your life so bad...... coz you have found your course hard and you have hated it.....so thats a common occurance but you don't see me moaning like a 2 year old.
In my last essay i was almost in tears from frustration when i didn't understand a vital concept, but did i come on here to moan.... no! I have been told i'm a failure and weren't academic by my teachers in school, so i stuck my middle finger up at them and achieved good grades through hard work and determination! I got 3 A's at A level and am aiming for a 2:1 in law....and !!!!!!! hell i have found it hard at times, i havent found it easy, i'm not naturally clever but i make up for it in determination and effort.... i just wish you would!!0 -
The best thing I can do is not come on here for more than 30 mins a day until my exams and essays are over.:beer:0

For goodness sake. You are nearly 22 years old. Stop living your life how your parents what you to. Do what you want. Your parents will be there for you whatever decisions that you make. They may not necessarily like or agree with your choices but that is part of growing up and being independent. Everyone makes wrong decisions at times but you learn from it and it makes you a stronger person. You can't just obey your parents all the time. You are an adult not a child.
If you hated it so much you could have changed course.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

I was told I would never get onto A levels but I knew I would and so I was determined to prove them wrong and I did. I admit I have just lost that a bit at uni as I never truly have wanted to be there in my heart.:beer:0 -

Yes, I need to be my own person more.
I could have changed courses but funding wise I was sort of locked in and I just wanted to get uni over as quick as poss.:beer:0
