Good luck with the dress hunt SF, I hate clothes shopping! New Look are a good bet tho, very inexpensive for, sometimes, really nice stuff.

Been shopping today, spent £41. So that's under budget this week :D Did go to the cinema but it was free as I had a voucher after an appalling experience last time I went :D

Not just me then. We have no bread or milk in the house and I am prevaricating because I don't want to go to Asda because I can't afford to buy anything extra. Can't really afford the bread or milk as none of the money I'm spending is mine - it's all overdraft. Got my meat and veg from butchers and greengrocers this week and have milk delivered but youngest son goes through it like there's no tomorrow - maybe he's growing again. I work full time and by the time I get out of work, blinking into the sunlight everywhere is closed. Excuses, excuses. Am going to get cash out, go to flippin Asda and leave cards at home - that should be o.k.

This unnecessary challenge has highlighted just how much I spend out of budget. Nearly never on myself although I did get a shop sandwich two days on a row this week. I knew i had a problem but I just leak money constantly and I pretend it's ok if its spent on someone else but its my fix

Hmmm, I have a crisp tenner in my wallet, just wanting to be part of a challenge.... but sometimes I save money from that into my piggy bank... would that count?

Hi Eagerlearner - we all get quite upset when we break into our tenners. For me what is left over goes straight off CCs.

Well, so I could buy what I needed with the £10 if I needed to break it, and anything left, could go in the piggy?
