no but that sounds yum! thanks!
  • that sounds lovely jet77.

I had to buy conditioner this morning as I've run out and my hair is a mess if I don't use it :( However I have started buying Sainsbury own rather than branded one which works just as well and is a lot cheaper.

  • I really do need a bit of motivation on this and it is such a great idea, genius whoever thought of it !!

If it is ok to join then I will start today (do I have to knock £2 of the £10 as a punishment for being late:D )

So I understand it to be anything that you dont need, so milk and bread a few times a week, does that count as necessary or not as I would soon be out of the money (with the milk costing £1.45 a litre every other day) ?

    xx

    GUESS WHOSE BACK!

    Hello my lovelies!!!!

I'm back from the land of the posh! Wasn't great spending wise, but a lot I get to claim back. Had to unfortunately buy some socks, and did buy some bargain make up so dont feel too dreadful...

So now is the start of a brand new week for me
I've really got to get myself in gear. I've already claimed back some money so that I need to pay back into my current acc soon as possible.

I've got very little money to last me till next payday which is a week this friday I think. So going to have to be creative....

    Hope everyone has been ok.
So desperately needing to pull in the purse strings in appearing in quite a few posts :rotfl:

    Now how do I survive on £6.66 a week?:o

Cafcgirl welcome back, i think that to live on £6.66 you have to follow whats in your signature - Martin says no!:money: It will be tough! but I'm sure you can do it!:o

Pippo - I's so glad that you've finally bought your knickers and won't be going to France knickerless!:p

Must be funny - any chance you can return it, or ebay it?

fedupwithbanks - if it's in your normal food budget then it doesn't come out of the £10, but just try not to buy anything unnecessary! have you thought of bulk buying bread and milk when you do your main shop and freezing it so you don't have to go to the corner shop during the week and spend more money that you should!

  • Hi

Hadn't thought of freezing milk, not sure how well rice milk will freeze but I will try freezing a little bit first as it is way too expensive to find out it doesn't work with a whole carton:D If anyone has already tried it and finds it works then let me know and I will clear a space for it all !! xx

Hi all, late addition to the thread, am trying to convert, but am doing ABYSMALLY...had a £3 smoothie from the smoothie shop today as it was 'healthy', then ruined it anyway by having an 80p flapjack full of sugar! And I have brought no lunch with me, so will have to spend £2 min :( Is it too late for me? I'm so disorganised :(
