Afternoon gals (and guys if any still come here) whats the craic today?
Its absolutely pouring with rain here today which is actually good cos since im not going out i wont spend anything (minus 2 essential ebay purchases) and am actually getting stuff sorted for next craft fair on sat. Trying to be more organised rather than being up all hours the night before trying to get stuff done.

Just having a nice cup of green tea (thanks again) with the last of the water, idiot down the road dug threw the water pipe with the digger and so we have none! its very quiet on here today. Cya

    Hi Brassic,
I'm off to France with old pops, DS, DDiL & DGDs.
As they live down south I'm really looking forward to being a real nanny for a couple of weeks, but think I'll need a holiday when I get back!!

I'm so pleased with myself though 'cos none of this holiday has gone on the CC (as yet!!)
Even have managed to change a reasonable amount of money over to euros and it is 2 days before payday:j
I have a bit of an ethical dilemma though.

Direct Debit for a cc should have come out on the 12th - still not out of my bank account today so I rang customer services - it gave me a balance which would be right if the money had been paid - it was one of those automated things. So they seem to have received the money, but not from my bank account!! Not sure what to do now, say nowt & hope I score or tell them or perhaps be done with late payment charges?

    Any thoughts folks??

Its likely to be paid from your account but maybe hasnt cleared.

I've been having that problem for ages with my accounts! GRRRRRRRRR!

Spent money today, feel a bit rubbish for it.
Have really got to make some serious changes next month if I'm ever gonna get debt free and enjoy my 20's while they're here!

    £3 for me!!!

i'm sure it's just the excitement and tension building up ... and yes, we ALWAYS have a little row before going away ... and it's always about how heavy my case is. funny thing is, i always swear that i'm going to travel light but just can't seem to do it!!!

CAFCGirls right ... i reckon the money will show as gone from your account today so moral dilemma over!

out on a freebie tonight. friend from work leaving and her boss is throwing her a meal at a posh place in notting hill (oooh er!!). would normally be looking forward to it but am out again tomorrow night for a friends 30th, and i'm covering someone at work tomorrow and i'm already dreading the hangover!! I have every intention of following every alcoholic drink with a glass of water but i'm sure it'll be a different story tonight!!!

Does anyone know how Slowly Fading's recital went?

Off to get ready for work now .. speak later x
