Payday is on Friday, so below is the position today in black and the position on Friday in green.
Spendy money (including all food etc) - £41.62 (£95.08)
Bills account - £238.27 (£374.27)
That was a tad optimistic, as a combination of Morrison's the other night and the Grabbit board last night (Urban Decay make-up palette for half price? Yes please!) has left me thusly:
Spendy money - £70.89
Bills - £374.27
I might have to nip to the shops tonight too, as we're needing a couple of small things, but I will keep the spending to under a tenner hopefully. I won't need petrol this week as we have half a tank in the car and I'm getting a lift to Fat Club tomorrow. I need to sort myself out with a four week bus pass, but my bills account now has enough money in it to pay all the direct debits for the month, and the next one isn't due out for a week (by which time I'll be adding another £136 to the pot) so I'm going to use the bills account money to pay for the pass.
Not a lot of additional moneysaving to report here. I'm managing pretty well on weekly budgeting, although it's not my favourite way of managing my money I have to admit. As it's payday today I may well treat myself to lunch at Marks and Spencer and a cup of tea from the canteen. Rock and roll

Bad and spendy Mooomin is bad and spendy...
Spending money - £5.11 (the result of a rather yummy lunch on Saturday!)
Money in purse - £22.91
Bills - £320.27
I have to buy catfood, fruit, milk and bread today - so that'll be at least a tenner I reckon. I'll need to be a hermit for the rest of the week!
The other accidental purchase of this week was a new coat which had £100 off in the sales. From Hobbs. Needless to say the money is coming from my savings account and thoughts of quitting my distressingly dull temp job have been shelved for another week.
It's a stunning coat though0 -
Wow £100 OFF in the sales!
Still, you deserve it! Is it going to be worn regularly or to be an occasional coat?Emergency savings: £0 saved / £4000 target0 -
Ahhh but it's not really how much was off it ... but how much was still left on it!
I really like this one ..... http://www.hobbs.co.uk/product/display?productID=0212-3730-3714L00&productvarid=0212-3730-3714L00-DARK%20CRIMSON-18&refpage=promotions/sale-highlights but just can't justify £100 on a new coat just now unfortunately!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

It was £149.40 which is quite ridiculous but it is lovely. I'll post up a link later0 -
