Hi everyone  I've been so busy getting ready for Christmas, enjoying Christmas, working, travelling, celebrating New Year (in my PJs with pizza and a tub of Ben+ Jerrys
) that I forgot to drop by to wish you a Happy Birthday :bdaycake:, Merry Christmas :rudolf: and a Happy New Year _party_
So, all of the aboveand I hope cold's gone too!

Happy Moo Year!]
It's payday today and I got a whopping £128. I've put two thirds of this to my bills account and the rest to spending, but it's all still looking quite healthy.
Yesterday was a little spendy:
Presents for the stash cupboard - £24 (Earrings at 70% off in Accessorize, a couple of man presents from Debenhams sale with free delivery and some lovely bits from Sainsburys in their 70% off sale)
Earrings for me - £4.80
£8.27 in Boots (lunch & cold medication!)
£24.50 - petrol
£8.59 - food in Sainsburys (including a lump o'beef for dinner tonight for under £2 and reduced bread for 34p each!)
£25 for a ticket to see Wicked when I'm in LondonThat's coming from my holiday account though so my spends account remains in a healthy state. One of my crafty friends saw my post on FB getting excited about it and she's coming too now!
So, after all that I'm still in a reasonable state:
Spending: £107.55
Bills: £238.27. Nothing else is due to debit for 11 days, so this is in a good state and next weeks pay should bring it up to the level it needs for the rest of the month.
Christmas/Birthdays: £19.32. It's my sister in laws birthday in a fortnight. Hopefully I can get her something for this amount, but I might have to dip in to my spends.
I have a night out on Saturday which I will be taking some money out for, but I'm hoping I can keep it quite low-budget. I bought two dresses in the Monsoon sale yesterday and hopefully one of them will be suitable. The cost of it (each under £30) will be covered by the clothes I take back to Next at the weekend!
Generally I've been ok with money over the last fortnight, but I haven't been making good enough use of money as I haven't been remembering to bring my own lunches and so forth. I'm back on the Fatwagon tomorrow though, so that'll improve my focus, my eating and my self-control around the work canteen! I have also bought a lot of tea from the canteen this week, but as I feel rotten I'm considering it medicinal

I ended up wearing something I already own (even though it's a wee bit big) and taking back those dresses, so that was a victory. The night out ended up costing £15 as I asked for something not on the set menu and the dad of the friend whose birthday it was paid for everyone's drinks (and that must have been a LARGE bill!)
I took all my clothes back to the shops from the sales and got £90 for them£75 of that has gone into the fund for my trip away next month and the rest is in my wallet as cash spends for this week. Everything is now booked for my trip away - I'm staying outside of London (£33 for a Premier Inn including breakfast) and then driving down with a friend to meet some crafty friends, so it's going to be a lovely budget trip. If anyone fancies meeting up then PM me
Better get ready for work (BAH!) Happy Mondays to all0 -
