Off course we should all feel for the staff at the bottom end especially, but no-one at the top at OpCapita will suffer.
The staff at my local Comet have generally offered great help and service, apart from maybe just the odd one. Hope they move on to better things and the great ones should get fixed up.

It's only natural as a MSE member to want knock-down prices and I personally wouldn't buy anything unless at least 50% off now from Comet.
I was lucky to get rid of a small amount on a gift-card.
I personally don't think there will be any great bargains for the general public, but we'll see.

I have just been to our local store. The prices have been put back up to RRP and there is a tiny 10% off. I can't believe people are queuing out the door (literally) to get this kind of reduction.

Other stores should cotton on to this gimmick.

Put all your prices up to the RRP, or at least higher than any other shop or anywhere on the internet, then anounce a massive sale with upto 30% off everything. You will have customers flocking to your shop hoping to grab a bargain, but in reality they are just paying the normal going rate at any other shop.

I called in quickly on my lunch, looked at a kettle, had been put upto the full RRP then with 20% off, it was still cheaper to buy from currys. Yet there was only one left on the shelf.

In fact what they could do is double the price for a week or two, then halve it in a sale, which never ends. Ah, every sofa shop seems to have already cottoned on to that one.

I went in there today and it was packed, we were looking at the fridge freezers. The one we liked was damaged and we were told it was 10% off and they could do no more on it.Everything was so overpriced to begin with. Can't believe they were so busy, what a rip off.
