Bought two pairs of Beats Turbines at the Comet in Torquay with 50% off. Took them back home and noticed the boxes on the supposedly identical products were different and after some online research found that they were fake goods.

Went back to the store and showed them the two products and there differences, staff acknowledged they were different but were adamant they couldn't issue a refund due to being in administration

I'm now at odds what to do, surely i must have some protection against buying counterfeit goods from an established retailer? If anybody can help at all it would be much appreciated.

Our branch shut last week.
Popped in, only really wanted a fridge freezer but discounts were not great. Asked someone not in uniform who seemed to be managing stock what the deal was with discounts. Showed him the fridge freezer I wanted and he discounted it 50%. Thankfully I was in the position to take it as drive a van. He explained unsold stock was being moved to other stores but expect large heavy items are better rid off than being moved.

Something else will take its retail place I hope in the new year. Fingers crossed its not another Tescos!

Kid lost if you can prove you purchased them there i would go to the police as it is against the law to sell counterfeit goods. Did they have any more in stock?

Hey if you think there fake goods get onto Trading Standards or contact the main manufacturer of the product to confirm its fake, you might not get your money back but trading standards should be able to give you advice and if they are fake they will take the rest off the shelves.
