  • Me and my mother went in to the Comet at the Forge Glasgow and Coatbridge last Friday, at the Glasgow one we picked up 3 DAB digital radios, all 50% off (my mum works with blind people). Then at the Coatbridge one we waited for 2 hours outside before getting in and buying an iPod Classic 160gb for 55% off, Skullcandy headphones at 50% off and a Nikon camera at 50% off. It should have been over £400 for the lot and we got it for £200. :)
  • probably not the right place to post (hey ho), but is there a Comet in Cribbs?
I have found conflicting info on their address, and looking on streetview I can't see where they may be based on their postcode (which shows up as the same building as Makro).

Might of already been posted so apoligies if it has! Comet are selling all their Ipod/Ipad Docking stations at 50% off in store.

One is £199.00 reduced to £100 then 50% off!

I invested in a Bose Sound dock which was £299 reduced to £150. Also bought a Bose Mobile Sounddock reduced from £250 to £125.

I went to Sainsburys today to get my groceries and had a quick look at their electrical stuff. It was all on offer.
They had a gorgeous flat screen 40" TV for £249. When I asked the sales assistant why they are so cheap she said it was because they get their products currently through comet and so are selling it off before they begin a new contract elsewhere.
    HTH
i have been trying to order the tv from sainsburys online, but my card details were not being accepted, after trying several times with no luck,i confirmed with my bank that there was no problem with my card,i then phoned sainsburys online help number(freephone)and i was told that they are having problems with processing online payments, and advised me to try again in the morning,,i cant believe how cheap this tv is,and all the reviewers are very happy with its quality and performance,i hope my order goes through tomorrow,,,,also just want to thank:j cathpalmer

No Comet at Cribbs - closed down a few years ago
  • I just want to say, please be nice to all Comet staff, who will be losing their jobs once the shops shut on the 18th.

be better off finding the model of the TV you want then use Google bang in model number at top and then click on shopping tab on left hand side, amazing amount of people that don't realise its there.
Has saved me £300 on 2 white goods so then bought a dishwasher for free.

    hope it helps.

I never buy anything without googling first, i have saved £100s over the few years i have had the internet. What with this site with its codes and googling you should never pay rrp for anything.

The two stores nearest me closed at 6pm, I went to have a look about 4pm and there wasn't much left. I bought a kindle lighted case for £6 and a pack of 2 ipod touch cases for £3.40. Very little electrical left.
