I do - but I also tend to burn it/let it boil over/entirely forget it and find a dried up mass later in the evening etc etc. Love homemade soup but seem to have a mental blockage when it comes to making it!!! Not paying much for one though!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
my mom and i popped into our local comet yesterday. i needed a new mixer as mine died last week and my mom needed a new filter for her fridge. although there was only £10 off each item, we bought them anyway. The staff were really helpful. im sure i wouldnt be if i was in their situation. we looked to see if we could have got them any cheaper once we got home, but we couldnt anyway. all i can hope that the staff we came into contact with can get another job if the worst happens. they deserve it. the store was busy, but not manic. Made me laugh though that they had 2 'heavies' on the door. everyone was very calm and polite - it wasnt needed.0

Good opportunity for john lewis to open up an entertainment division
1.thats really clever saved a £100 so when it dies with drool and dropped won't feel so bad it didn't cost that much, but suspect you will blame comet staff/apple for bad product.
2.suspect you may have been rude in the past hence not good service just alittle thought in the back of my mind.
3.no not really just engaged brain realising what the general thought of you and your 'silly' thoughts are just generally nasty, offensive and thoughtfulness towards your fellow man, showing you for your true colours there i afraid. don't think you could careless whether staff or comet as a whole, your ok jack and so it goes on like that.
4.john lewis entertainment division?
don't know if you are refering to an electrical division which they already have http://www.johnlewis.com/Electricals/Area.aspx
think you should have a look around before making statements like you do sweeping ones without checking things first sort of makes you look how can i put it?
yes that's it "silly" really.
hope you engage your brain before engaging mouth first.
some people do have to worry about jobs and family first and the job they do is no different than any other job, yours included!
have a nice day

They had nothing at Teeside park, most of the Shleves were empty. And they only had two breadmakers without any packaging and instructions. I felt quite sorry for the staff. I do hope they get a buyer soon for them. Or we will only have currys left on the high street.Has anyone seen my last marble:A:A:A:A

Worst sale ever been too. Buyers beware the sale prices aren't too different from other stores prices because of comets original prices being so high. Most of the stuff I see was old stock and ex display with little discount for example the laptops I see are old models with 10% off but they have been running nonstop for months with noisy dust filled fans and buttons tht don't work properly anymore, there just not worth the hassle for the little discount you get, these display items get used and abused stay away if you ask me.
Left the store with nothing0 -

The one near me promises to close down 15 times a year!!!
Anyone remember Eisenegger from the 90s?
They sold their own stuff, which was perpetually marked down by 70% from the off! Everything they sold was made of fleece as well if I remember rightly, polyester fleece. I'm sure they sold fleece tshirts, why the hell anyone would want one of those ill never know.
Went in on Friday, picked up a sandwich maker (£30 down to £20, then 20% off) and a twin phone set (£50 down to £25, then 20%).
20% off seemed to be in the following areas, amongst others
Printers
Small kitchen appliances
Home hifi systems
Landline phones0 -

Popped into the Ashford kent store earlier to have a look but there was only 10% off most things so not really much of a saving so didn't bother buying anything but enjoyed myself as the 90's music that was being played was loud so was like a mini nightclub :-)It's only a bargain if you need it.0

Hi
My local Comet store in Leeds is selling Apple products with at lease 10% off - given that Apple products are not normally found at a discount - this is a great offer.0
