I think I've got everything, but then I also feel like I'm forgetting something.
Just need to lay my clothes out to make sure I've got enough, quick iron, pack, have dinner, make packed lunch for tomorrow. Pack satchel for on hand stuff too.

Thanks NP.
After packing and repacking my bag another 3 times I have decided I'm nearly ready0 -
So, I've arrived! Thankfully I met a nice girl on the train on the way down who led me about, she knows London like the back of her hand having just worked here as a tour guide for the past month! Without her I'm pretty sure I would have been lost.
Had welcome dinner/introductions last night, where they gave us a goodie bag, including a new tablet to keep! I'm still a bit shellshocked at everything
Not an NSD yesterday sadly, £1.99 for a coke :eek:0 -

Hi Lois
Thanks.
That's me back, came back late Saturday night. Wasn't able to update while I was awy as I literally didn't have a spare millisecond, Wed night I got 4 hours sleep, Thu night I got 2 hours sleep, etc etc. So I am finally able to stay awake for more than an hour now
Only had two spend days while I was down, £1.99 on a coke, £1.60 on a water, and £4 on a taxi! Can't wait til student loans come in. Less than 3 weeks til uni starts, which is weird. Need to finish summer project next, then get ready for uni.
Being down there has also made me realise a huge list of things I need to learn... eep!0 -

Thanks SS - they definitely worked us hard but it was fun, and it is what i want to do in the future too
Back to reality now, writing up my paper for summer project, trip to Belfast soon for research! Excited! Feeling very lucky and blessed right now, long may it continue.
Lunch is omelette with bacon, red onion and parsley, and side salad of red pepper, celery, beetroot, cucumber, cornichons and balsamic glaze. Om nom nom.0 -
Meant to be going out tonight, can't be bothered. Will be driving so I don't have a drink. Is it sad that I just want to stay in and watch movies with the OH?
Determined to be a NSN - no spend night.
No other money saving to report, waiting for new fixed rate to kick in and student loans for more OPs!0 -
