Thank you to everyone for the congrats :) Very sweet :)

Did anyone see the news today? Apparently the BoE has 'confirmed' that rates 'could' stay at a record low for next three years!

I've managed to fix on a deal that is sliiightly below the SVR I'm currently paying so no odds to me but bit surprised by this news!

Only a few days til London :O

Apparently so Cal - not good news for savers ....

I have to wait until end of this month before I can apply for a new product, so will be interesting to see if rates offered change in any way.
    February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
    MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

Hopefully they stay nice and low for you Natty!

I have tomorrow left then I'm on train at 9am on Sunday! So tomorrow is running-about-like-a-headless-chicken day. Have made a list, will need to pack everything and check it off the list. Can't get rid of this nagging feeling I am forgetting something :o

Quite... apprehensive? I don't think that's the right word. Cautious maybe. It is an amazing opportunity, but am the same time I am scared shittycrap. I've been working all summer in a different language, and will have to do a complete switch! I'm worried I'll forget the basics and embarrass myself. But that's why I booked train, 5 hour train ride down to research and read up on things :)

Argh! Less than 48 hours now until the welcome dinner!

:o Hope you get it fixed soon (You have until Sunday before you make the trip to Big Smoke, right?). Which package are you using? Texmaker? :)

  • Hi Calfuray, good luck and enjoy your time. No idea whether you like radio, but you can apply for free tickets to see a number of radio shows being recorded - may be a distraction from all the work?

I'm using TexShop. It's work for the project that I was trying to complete before I went away, but I've still got 3 weeks when I get back. Issues with vboxes and hboxes, so just layout stuff. But yes, Sunday I go :) In 24 hours I'll be on the underground about there!

    Hey Tilly :)

Sounds good, I'll need to check it out, but days while we are down there are 8am to 10pm :o
On the Friday we are going on the bus tour and to the science museum, really looking forward to that :D

One good thing - with long days, should be NSDs!
