Exam done today. Again, wasn't quite what was expected. Was okay overall.
Today has been a rubbish day though, it was like everything that could go wrong went wrong. Was going to get a coffee before exam, couldn't get parking, then shopping centre parking was shut. Then next place I tried was shut, would normally have been open but 'unforeseen circumstances'! Then next place got my order wrong, then I dropped my breakfast on my top -_-
Got parked, got into exam, that was okay. Then I had to drive to airport. Friend does not drive, nor does he have any knowledge of how to give directions, leading to a lot of time being in wrong lane or just overall really stressful situations. Still don't feel recovered now!
Didn't get much sleep last night so going for a nap, reading book and generally chilling out. Tomorrow I will start with decluttering.
Oh, and that's all exams over, and results will be 7th June, but we still don't have some coursework back, it's been 28 days now. Hm.0 -
Oops, can't believe it's been over a week since I posted!
Still have not received assignment coursework back, so looks like we won't know and will just get final grade. Grades were either going to be released today or Monday, some departments were today but not me so Monday it is! Research project starts on Monday, so good on one hand as won't be sitting in front of email waiting, will be busy, but bad as if I don't get grades I want don't think I'll be able to hold back tears!
Off to bed soon, had a very, very, very long day. Ikea, CostCo and A&E! Nothing serious, just driving friend. Night all xx0 -
It is so so hot. I wasn't made for this type of weather. Had nice lunch out with friend, just bought some food and sat out in the sun. Then trundled round shops. Exhausted and thirsty!
Both my banks were either closed or machines weren't working, so was lugging about my coin bags for nothing0 -
Today is first day of research project, off to make a sandwich and trundle up there.
Today is also results day; at some mysterious time today they will be there, but the woman I'm working with today has them all in a folder in her office...
I'm a nervous wreck today :rotfl:0 -
Got my grades. Above 90% for each module. Bring on next year!0

Well done clever clogs :j:j:j:j:jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
I don't know about you guys, but I believe good friendships can withstand periods of not seing each other, and pick up pretty much where it left off.
One of my friends is annoyed I havent replied to a text she sent a week ago.
In that week I have: started summer project and am working on Week 4 work since whenever I accomplish something I get given more - think I'm being tested. Went to conferences and talks over two days, went to Glasgow and back, had opticians, de-cluttering house etc etc. It's not exactly like I've been sitting on the couch eating popcorn, I've been busy and when I have come home, I'm been exhausted.
People annoy me :mad:0 -
Oh and thanks GG, MWC and Tilly
I have also been told I'm getting prizes for grades0 -
Okay, I've calmed down a bit
Project is stressing me out slightly, feel lost.
Got my FD joining bonus of £125, feel so rubbish I was tempted just to buy nice things for myself, but resisted, and it has been paid into the mortgage pot. Ho hum.0 -
