Thanks SS, Tilly, HDK, natty, and Alchemilla!
It's been so long since I posted!
Spent tonight opening up FD account to get £125 bonus, upgrading NW to FlexDirect. Both my savings accounts are earning less than 3%, so figured might as well consolidate into 5% account, especially since I don't pay tax currently. Then need to do the standing order shuffle to meet FD requirements etc. Surprisingly pleased so far with FD's customer service.
HDK - I don't know how you do it. Seriously. That is an awful lot of writing. How's it getting on?
Cal x0 -
FD set up, received bank card, and just sending away the form to get a couple of DDs set up to meet the T&Cs for the opening bonus.
Nationwide gets upgraded this weekend.
137.59 OP made for May.
And off to study for exams now0 -
Um, yeah, so, got email today from The Search Engine, I got the all-expenses-paid week in London for the internship...
That means I'll be doing internship and summer project!
And I've never been to London. Scary biscuits!

Thanks guys and gals
Just found out I was one of 25 in Europe to get in, so that's quite scary if I think about it too much!
Nothing much going on in moneysaving land, NW FlexDirect is open, but not sure I'm liking it as my main account, it's too easy to get savings and spending money mixed up...
FD set up, so may start using that for day-to-day banking.
Exams in less than 3 weeks, really starting to freak out. Need to get my study brain on, it's getting close to crunch time and I can't afford to lose focus. Feeling very tired and unmotivated, needs to change!
Hope everyone's well, good to see NP's back with us0 -

Today is the Cals' anniversary - 5 years today
Won't be very moneysaving today, but still more moneysaving than previous years of skydiving and Paris/Norway - going for lunch in a nice inn nearby, then taking advantage of the gorgeous weather.
Gave friend lift to train station this morning, went out and bought breakfast and some choccies for OH.
Will need to do some study today, very romantic
Hope everyone enjoys the sun x0
