Who will it be Romney or Obama?

I predict;
320ish for Obama
210ish for Romney0 -
Democrats start wars, not Republicans as a rule. History tells us that.
Democrats took the US into both WW1 and WW2 plus also Korea and Vietnam.
But Republicans took them into the Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan.No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.

Obama is probably better for them because he may not lead them into so much trouble abroad as Romney might. Democrats also don't have so much of a dog-eat-dog approach to domestic politics (though a lot of Americans think that approach is advantageous).
But from our point of view Romney might be better because generally speaking Republican presidents are more interested in us. Carter wasn't very interested in the UK, and nor was Clinton. Obama clearly isn't either. Nixon and Reagen were though. With Dubya it was strange, because he was interested in the UK, but we don't know how much that was because he could exploit Blair's performance as a total doormat.
On the radio there was a Chinese studies university professor saying that Romney would be good for China, because he would be so poor in international relations, it would make them look good.
When US presidents get interested in us it means they want something and it will cost us.
Looking at distribution map of voting patterns, particularly the "safe" states, it is interesting that the democrat votes are predominately round the coasts and republican in the central states. Is this because the coastal states are more cosmopolitan, with their residents more likely to have traveled overseas, therefore having a better grasp of reality?
Hearing various commentators suggests to me that the republicans are living in the past and don't recognise that the world has moved on, on so many levels."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

That sounds a bit like the American equivalent of the Guardian-reading fraternity -- more cosmopolitan, living in the present, better grasp of reality etc, with all the implicit arrogance and intellectual snobbery.
American culture is inherently more right-wing than hours, with it hire and fire approach to employment, more diligent work ethic, and greater inclination to worry about the size of the cake than how to carve it up. The Republican ethic suits about half of them it seems. they fear a slippage into the sort of woolly, wasteful, and unproductive social democratic way of thinking into which Europe has sunk, and they don't want it. Th Democrats are probably a little to the right of our Coalition government. Pretty much anywhere in Europe they would sweep the board. But America is different. Given a choice of Romney or the Labour Party under Milliband and Balls I think I know which way I'd go.No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Obama has pretty much got it. However, this leaves massive financial questions unanswered, questions which Romney had at least looked at.
Indeed, it may well have been better for Obama to hand over the Romney....much like Labour handed over to the coalition. Things simply cannot get any better for Obama, he's spent all there is pretty much to spend.
We've got a fiscal cliff problem...we've got yet another debt ceiling problem. AND he's going to have to see through, and find the money for ObamaCare now. He's got a hard road ahead of him.0 -

No he hasn't.
That will be Mitt's problem now. Obama's only problem is how to earn a living, now. Maybe he can scratch a living on I'm a celebrity, get me out of here. [Or the American version I'm a celebrity, get me outta here].0 -

Eh? How you figure it will be Mitt's problem? It's unlikely he will take presidency.0
