  • Bossy - hugs!

I have had a lovely day. I had to get DD2 up early as she had an IT test in town at 9am. Apparently her ICT qualification (OCR Nationals - she has 3 with merit) do not count as as GCSE equivalent for a City and Guilds Course:mad::mad::mad:...

Anyway she could have had an hour for this test, but was out, with certificate (she got 90%+) by half 9!

So having made sure that DD1 had been breakfasted I headed into town via work, where I left my bike. We had a lovely 2 hours mum and daughter shop - picking up stuff in H&M and some jeans for her and DD1 in DP. Then we adjourned to Costa where I had a tea and I treated her to a hot chocolate and a cake.

I then hit M&S for a bit of food shopping and RAN to work.

Post work I had lunch with the daughters - DD2 has gone to work and DD1 has gone to the library. I am about to shove a couple of spuds in the oven and get on with the ironing.....

Bossy (((HUG))) and a big slurpy X from Dylan. I know when my friend lost her husband in an industrial accident, she took the view that it was better for others to get some pleasure from his stuff than just have it sitting around the house doing nobody any good. A wobble is perfectly understandable though; strength vibes comin' atcha, my friend.:o

Huge hugs for Bossy and LW.

Ionafan how did your DH's interview go?

DH has cleaned all of downstairs. We had angry words yesterday and he's started smoking again. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, I am crushed. I think the cleaning was his way of trying to make amends.

    Thank you all xxx

Feeling a bit better now. I "hoovered" up some leaves earlier, till it started raining. Patio looks much tidier. Must remember to put green bin out on Monday...

Then I started getting things ready for the sale. Lol, my garage looks like babies r us has exploded in it heheh. I've descaled the steam steriliser (white viinegar ;)) and got a few bits of ironing together.

I have two travel cots, two ready beds, a baby rocker, a buggy board, two baby monitors, a bed rail, a box of books, another of clothes and a pile of toys. Not to mention the steriliser, a mini blender, a pile of little wellies and some cotbed sized duvet covers.

Will it all fit in my car??? I have put the seats down. Here's hoping. More to the point, will it all fit on the six foot table I have booked. Yikes!

    ETA: need more tea...

    Hiya guys

Awww LW :( *big hugs* x

Bossymoo :( I can't begin to tell you how much I admire your strength, you're doing marvellously and you're a fabulous Mummy xx

Well, I think I've done a few bits off my list, can't remember what I put and I cba to go back and have a look lol but I've done the kitchen jobs and been to work and paid my rent at the office, and made the tea, and took some stuff upstairs. Happy with that.

Got £70 left on my CC so I've decided to do a food shop for home delivery tomorrow, I don't want to....I've GOT to! There's not a morsel left in the house barring 2 still frozen ciabbattas and some frozen veg :rotfl: so I've been very savvy with my list and it should be enough to get us over a few days or better still best part of a week, sick to death of being old mother hubbard, my first pay packet from my new job is going to buy food, gonna fill up everything, freezer, fridge and cupboards!

Gonna have a bath then get myself over to the Christmas Board for lovely warm fluffy, snuggly xmas vibes :snow_grin :p

    Laters x

Anyone who criticises the housekeeping in the Honey Bear House gets handed a duster and told that if the problem is that important they should sort it out rather than wait for me to get around to it.

Chilling now, as it's Friday........embb.....I might follow you over to the Christmas thread..............on another tab, of course!!! :)

LOL - and quite right too.

Bossy - you are doing marvellously.

There's a code on Quidco for buy 2 get 2 (cheapest) free and 16% cashback if it's any good to anyone, for Body Shop

I have taken 2 bags of discarded clothing to be weighed. Usually take stuff to CS but am feeling the pinch at the moment. Am eyeing up DS's drawers and wardrobes (yes - TWO!) now...

(I bought a suite s/h for his room - two wardrobes, a mirrored unit, with 3 drawers and a 3 drawer chest and a 5 drawer chest - fitted in there beautifully but gives him too much hoarding room :rotfl:)
