How did you get onBossy? When I sold all my 'big stuff' I was very pleased with the sum of money I achieved. I hope you are similarly blessed.

Dinner sorted for tonight. Downstairs is clean and tidy.

All washing done. I'm going to do a HHI for the school stuff as I suspect I will be feeling rather delicate tomorrow.

    Evening

MIxed bag since last in but have been flying when I can, alongside vicious AF with accompanying migraine which seems to becoming the norm now. Anyway have had a read back of fred and will update this weeks list if I can get onto the pc before we go out tomorrow.

Joannasmum - any more job news yet. Must be a worrying time.
Good intentions - Sorry you lost Bubba and the oncome, hope the situation improve soon
Mumto5 - Hope DH's back is better now, and that you find out why DS was paid so little
Vanilla - another well done for DD from me
Lamewolf - HUgs and hope the arms/shoulders improve soon
Rowan Tree - snap on the migraine front, hope yours has gone now. Mine is improving but is usually 5 days before it clears. What do you take for yours?

    Hi Kazmeister

I used to get hormonal headaches before my periods - my doctor called them 'pre migraineous - but thankfully I'm now past menopause I don't get them very often, it's usually when I've had disturbed sleep. I find the best thing fir me is the liquid form of ibuprofen, that is marketed for migraine, but I'm aware that everyone should check personally what they can or can't take.

I do hope you find something that alleviates yours - aren't they awful? Only a few years ago, when visiting family on a pre-Christmas visit, I had to spend two days in bed - I was sick if I even tried to sit up. Yuck!! All good wishes, R x
  • Good evening :o

I have done absolutely nothing all day :( I didn't feel right when I went to bed last night, and about an hour later I was really sick :( Woke up early to text art to say I wouldn't be there (there are some vulnerable people there, health-wise, so wouldn't want to pass any germs!) I eventually got up at 2.30pm  after catching up on Casualty & Corrie, and decluttering another couple of hours sleep. I still don't feel great. Enough about me!

DH has walked the dog, done all the ironing, washed his car and is now cooking dinner for him & the kids.

I don't think I am going to get anything done, so I may try and do some reading for my course, so it is not a complete waste of a day.

I hope the sale went well, Bossy. And hugs, sticks and spoons to those that need them.

I wasn't intending to do any flying today at all because tomorrow is going to be exceptionally busy. However, the 15 year and 9 month old dog decided to declutter her stomach contents this morning by the southern route - right in front of the nightmare lodger and her husband who were having breakfast at the time.

    Yick.

Carpet scrubbing took 45 minutes and I'm still not sure there won't be any residue.

Hiya! I know it's naughty but this did make me laugh! Not at you cleaning it up, but at it happening in front if your 'nightmare' lodger!? R x
  • Evening, just stopping by for a quick lurk........was awake most of the night, but stayed in bed to get some rest

decluttered kids at 8am with their Dad, went to bed and slept for 4 hours, but felt better and worse at the same time....

Made a start on unpacking @pproved food delivery - very gutted spent 2 hours packing noodle nests into plastic bags so I can store them, as I haven't got enough room to put the great big cardboard box into cupboard

DS came home and his Dad put him down for a nap in my bed, promptly soaked the bed through to the mattess and up into duvet,

so duvet is in the wash, cracked out the v@x on the mattress and currently sitting on towels on the patch to get the mattress as dry as possible so I have somewhere to sleep tonight, but the duvet will not be dry til some time on Monday at the earliest

so much for getting stuff off the list today - going to go down and finish making fish pie for tea and then back to bed to rest up as much as I can, then start again tomorrow:)

    Hi all!

I'm back, and got rid of lots of stuff! I have brought some bits back, some of which will probably eB@y. I was surprised people didn't want little wellies. I sold 1 pair out of five, they were all in good nick and just £1 a pair but no one wants them.

Anyway, the big stuff went, we made about £175 gross, out of that came £15 fees and £30 on two as new balance bikes for the kids

I wasn't supposed to be buying, but they were on the Christmas list anyway, and would have cost 3 times that new, and they are both hardly used.

So glad it's over I didn't realise how stressed I felt about it till it finished! Baileys tonight I think!

Thanks for all the positive vibes xxx

    Hi all, another quick post.

Congratulations to embb on the new job , and good luck vibes to Ionafan's DH. That intereview does sound promising. (Late) good luck vibes to Bossymoo too, I hope today went really well. Also, gentle vibes to Lamewolf, you take good care of yourself, your DH and those doggy visitors. If you lived nearer I'd ask if you did cats too - it sounds like animal heaven there!

Been busy here: still settling in the new cat who is doing really well, still walking next door's dogs, still shopping and cleaning for sick friend and still going to work! In between I've kept up to date with the cleaning, shopping etc, but really need to do a WM and at least HHI tomorrow, or I'll have no uniform for work!!

We hope to look at Christmas lists tomorrow, and after doing a lot of home cooked food last week, with plenty off veg, I'm doing lots of quick things this week, to go with with salads and jacket spuds, which are easy!!

I'm sorry if I've missed out anything really important anyone had posted. You all sound so busy (especially you, Skint-breeder), how do you do it all, and can you send me some of your get-up-and-go, please!! I had a read through but then got interrupted! Good health and good wish vibes to everyone, and here's to a good weekend too. Love, R x
