Morning all. Bossy, yuk to your last post. Hope the sale goes ok today.

HelenJelly - have you look at the avon thread on here for hints and tips before you give up?

Well not much flying for me yesterday as paid stuff was manic and 3 separate dog walks took a large chunk out of the day. I did manage to do a one-handed sweep/hoover/brush of the house though. Can't mop though. DH still be really helpful, particularly with opening tins, and today he is going to do main weekly shop on his way home from work. So my plans for today:

Meal plan and email shopping list to DH
Pop to post office and baker
Wait for DD to get home so we can walk dogs together

Other than that I'll see how the day pans out. I can always spend time on here, catch up on corrie or read.

    Have a good day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Morning all

Kaz - big hugs, I'm suffering with migraine for the week before AF and sometimes first day or so - reading an excellent book about it at the moment, I'll pm you on facebook later and we can compare notes!

Bossy good luck with the sale

Off to charity craft fayre now, catch you all later

  • Jazee - thanks, I've been on there [lurking] problem is that no-one around here wants the stuff and even when I do get orders Avon continually out of stock the stuff - its embarrading to keep going round saying sorry to customers for not having your order! It then affects my earnings, this last book was hardly worth doing so my plan is to order up on bubble baths and shampoos etc then I can get it cheaper and have enough to last quite a while.

Dusty - I'd be interested in the book title - I suffer with bad migraines at any time - its an age thing I've decided :[

So far today I've decluttered DD to her Dad, washed up, done the worktops and the hob. I need to write down a list now

    Catch you all later

    Helen

PS Hope you come back with nothing Bossy :]]

Windows open. washing on line *grins happily* I ironed yesterday's washing last night but the flanellette sheets need a really good airing as they didn't competely dry, so the maiden is in front of a sunny, open window.

Half way round the LR and some piles are being dealt with. And are reducing in size. Go me!

I wasn't intending to do any flying today at all because tomorrow is going to be exceptionally busy. However, the 15 year and 9 month old dog decided to declutter her stomach contents this morning by the southern route - right in front of the nightmare lodger and her husband who were having breakfast at the time.

    Yick.

Carpet scrubbing took 45 minutes and I'm still not sure there won't be any residue.
    Better is good enough.

Hi all, I really must dig deep and find my va-va-voom because it has va-va-vanished.

    Monday - Kitchen and Hall
Polish some shoes - think I'll dig out my boots and see if they're winter-ready

Tuesday - Living Room and Dining Room
Sort out a cupboard/drawer/display cupboard - do you need all that stuff tucked away at the back?
    Dust/wipe lampshades

    Wednesday - Study/conservatory/spare bedroom/kids room (choose one) - DONE

Thursday - Bathroom Deep clean - DONE

Friday Master Bedroom, Stairs and Landing
    Test smoke alarms

Actually done more than I thought - really must go into the bathroom this afternoon - even though it's uncluttered, it really is my Room of Doom. I think it's the thought of all that bending and stretching that puts me off. Perhaps I'll take a radio in there with me, boogie away and pretend it's exercise :rotfl:

Got a few gifts at the Christmas Fayre

DH has fixed the security light and changed the clock batteries, now working on varnishing the step then putting up the curtains I am making for DS3 by punching holes in fleece blankets - I'll do a photo if they are all right.

    DS2 dispatched to work
    DS1 back from golf

I need to find my list next and do HH flying.

    Helen this is the book

It is mainly Menopause stuff, chapter on hormone headaches which I think mine are because they are not all the time. It is the book I was so happy to find in a charity shop for £2.95 the other week.

  • A-ha - the bathroom is no more YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY

I've just popped my head around mine and DD's bedrooms - I think I need a cuppa before I can contemplate those two rooms.

    Anyone for HHC at 3.30?
