    Me again!

Well. After my sale yesterday, I can actually move! So, I have moved toys from the cold conservatory into the garage (ours is converted with proper floor etc) which is now the playroom. I have swapped the stuff in the storage units around so there is nothing in reach they can hurt themselves on, and all their favourite things are accessible. I have moved a tub chair in for me, and the big rug for the floor. So they have:
    Trampoline (just a 5' one)
    A frame drawing board
    Toy kitchen
    Toy garage
    Small dolls house
    Dolly corner (cot and buggies)
    Book box
Numerous tubs with dolly accessories, cars, play food, dolls house furniture

Just need to get a couple of big floor cushions. I do have a couple of old pillows so I might commission MIL to make some big covers if she's got any spare fabric...

I still have a few boxes of eb@yables and charity shop bits, but it's really pleasant in here, especially when sunny, as it has huge patio doors at one end which face the sun until mid afternoon.

They can make some Xmas decorations for it in a few weeks, too!

I have found the Proof of postage :j. Shall I issue a refund? I think he's scamming me.

Even if you think he's scamming you best to offer the refund BUT keep all e mails etc. Ask Soolin on the ebay thread;)

Dusty - I can cover school holidays if that's any help? I have some
    ideas for challenges;)

Juliejim - thanks for all your hard work!

Bossy - that all sounds very positive ;)

It's bright and sunny here so I have washing on the line - the laundry basket is almost empty; nothing to iron until this dries!

Juliejim many thanks for all your hard work; please stay with us and post, won't you?:o

Dusty I'm not going to volunteer at this time, as my health is just too flaky, and I wouldn't like to make promises and then not be able to keep them.:o

Off to take Dylan for a walk now.;)

Julie Jim: As a newbie who has transformed the Honey Bear House thanks to the lists and everyone's contributions, I'll miss your lists. Like everyone else has asked, please keep posting though.

Bossy Moo: Well done on the sale yesterday, and for tracking down a couple of things that were on the Little Moos lists. I hope they enjoy their decluttered new playroom, and that the next week isn't too hard on you all. (((hugs)))

Rowan Tree: I'm glad it made you laugh. (Secretly, it did me, too!)

Dog excelled herself this morning at 5.45, but in the absence of Nightmare Lodger (NL in future). She's very ill, and it's touch and go whether her digestive system gives out completely or I can't face any more carpet scrubbing which took three hours this morning. Just as I'd finished the fifth area and was looking forward to having a rest, she threw up again! I'm hand feeding her slivers of chicken breast the size of my little finger nail to keep her going, and trying to get her to take baby rice. I've known for months she might not make her sixteenth birthday in mid-January but it looks as though she won't be needing any Christmas presents either. Having said that, although she was very obviously feeling like death warmed up by 9.00am this morning, she was bouncing around like a puppy at the sight of her lead by 2.00pm and she's taken her morning antibiotic, so all is not lost.
    Better is good enough.

Aww hb, hope your pooch gets much better.

Anyone have any tips on rug cleaning? It's not a wool one, and just wants a good freshen up. No particular stains, just general child-related grot.

World expert on degrotting wool carpets and assorted rugs reporting for duty Bossy Moo. If it's spot cleaning, a microfibre cloth and very heavily diluted biological clothes washing liquid is brilliant, and if it needs depewifying I'm now using a product from Pet$ @ Home called Antimicrobial Stain and Odour Remover.

I wanted to wash the carpets throughout the house again this year, but I need to know there will be a week of really hot sunny days to ensure they're completely dry afterwards. That never happened, so there are suspiciously bright clean areas of carpet all over the front entrance, dining room and sitting room!
