mrs-mp, I loved your description of yourself wrapped up like a mummy!
Well done on making a start on your RoD, toochoosey. As you say, the satisfaction of having started is yours.
CY, glad you had such a nice day.
Hope your sale goes well tomorrow, Bossymoo.
Mumto5, thanks for asking: DH's interview went as well as he could have hoped. He had to do a 15-minute demo of teaching (bear in mind that he works in the rail industry) and chose to get the members of the panel making sponge pudding which they could microwave later. Apparently this went down really well, in more ways than one :rotfl: All in all it appears to have been a positive experience and he came home with a big smile on his face and washed up all his pots and bowls, bless him :A Whether he will get the job is another matter, but he felt that he had shown himself at his best, which after his problems earlier in the year is a great leap forward.
All Drs and hospital appointments have been decluttered satisfactorily today, and I've done the first little bit of Christmas shopping. Guess what we had for pudding tonight: "Here's one DH made earlier" - and very nice it was too :T
Hope you get some sleep tonight, skintbreeder!0 -

Sorry flyladies and flygents that I have been MIA for several hours - and thank you for all the sleepy vibes
, I actually had a nap with DS for over 2 hours :j:j:j before the phone went and woke us both up:mad:
Horrible froggy phone call that went on too long for my liking :mad::mad: so glad I made a start on the study the other day as my sister wants to come over to sign some of Dad's papers with me in person (I wanted to post them to her now most of the groundwork has been done) and talk about slapping a POA on my Mum- too many appointments next week to fit her in, and supposed to be having as little aggro as possible at the mo.
All beds are dried and re-made ready to get head down again, washing has been put away, including a pile of Anthea Turner-ed towels and re-folded another stack Turner style in the airing cupboard with great difficulty as DS wanted to help.
Trying to settle him down again now, so I can fly a little bit more and get some more off that list - but I am sure fly-baby will get me awake on a 1am flying special if not :rotfl:
hugs to everyone that needs them, esp bossy and the little moos
xxxThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Thanks Ionafan xx and well done to OH xx
I need to get pen and paper by the laptop to remember everyones news/updates, can't remember all
I need to find a list and see what needs doing in the morning before going for lunch to celebrate Stepdads 80th birthday on Monday................xx0 -
Evening
MIxed bag since last in but have been flying when I can, alongside vicious AF with accompanying migraine which seems to becoming the norm now. Anyway have had a read back of fred and will update this weeks list if I can get onto the pc before we go out tomorrow.
Joannasmum - any more job news yet. Must be a worrying time.
Good intentions - Sorry you lost Bubba and the oncome, hope the situation improve soon
Mumto5 - Hope DH's back is better now, and that you find out why DS was paid so little
Vanilla - another well done for DD from me
Lamewolf - HUgs and hope the arms/shoulders improve soon
Rowan Tree - snap on the migraine front, hope yours has gone now. Mine is improving but is usually 5 days before it clears. What do you take for yours?
Bossymoo - Hugs. Bless your DD. I love hearing the stories of your 2 littlies. Good luck with the sale tomorrow.
Kraftykat - Welcome, albeit belated.
Wendywitch - glad you have a new dog, and BBT is my favorite programme of the moment. I think the characters are prtrayed brilliantly.
Mrs MP -Glad DS was at home safe, Ive been there and know that sickening feeling wondering where they are.
Kazwookie - Wow, Christmas all wrapped up, I'm impressed. Does that mean you are away again this year or just incredibly organised.
Natty68 - Hugs xx
Skintbreeder - I want one of Sheldons laundry things too, where can you get them? I use mould and mildew remover in my shower but usually pick up the astonish one from poundlnad or somewhere like that. Ihave found it works just as well as the more expensive one. I just spray leave overnight and then rinse off in the morning, no scrubbing.
Embb - WTG Hun, well done on getting the new job and excellent it fits round the others.
Toochoosey - Ive been there with the room tidying. It is hard when there are other rooms that are a tip but they will eventually do it (usually when the pocket money becomes the bribe)
Wendywitch - let the friend sleepover. It will be your daughter who end up the embarrassed one. My DD's friends used to come round and help her tidy hers in the end.
Skintbreeder re post 237 - we should put your second paragraph on the page 1 welcome as it is quite inspirational.
XxJoxx - Hugs, hope you feel better soon
CY - well done to DD2
Ionafan - fingers crossed for DH and getting the new job.

DS has just quit, and I lack motivation to get flying now as I fear if I don't to sleep by 1, fly-baby will have me pulling an all-nighter.
